- corkanne070Cork, Ireland7 contributionsThe level of support from the organisers was evident from the first engagement & nothing was too much for them.
Highlight was cooling my feet in the sea at Ardmore at the end!Written 3 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. But when we finished our journey the view was beautiful! The hike itself quiet except for the birds.. peaceful. Easy to navigate.Saw 3 people during the entire hike. Beautiful vegetation. Loved the little bird houses on the trees.Written 13 October 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- StephenCrossDublin, Ireland18,526 contributionsSuir Blueway is one of those great free items in ireland that you can really enjoy. Great to walk and cycle. Wait there was more control on the electric scooters and should be a speed limit.Written 23 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ben H4 contributionsFirst trip to keeper hill Glad I did it but I want to point out simple but important improvements that won't cost a lot Coilte or whoever sets the signposts Firstly the sign for the carpark from the main road covered by branches from bushes ok we have Google maps but it only brings you to main road entrance Secondly and very important leaving car park a purple arrow pointing way barley stuck in the ground which could be easily blown away not you way markers unless I missed it A big improvement would be some seating on the way as I'm in the older age category apart from that nice to be able sit down for a view and a drink or eat That I would highly recommend . Road surface grand apart from very large potholes which if left to long will erode the roads .Last point seating a must as there is no wall or any heightened surface to lean against Glad I did it and will probably do it again but seating a must And signposts clearer Thanks for the memoriesWritten 17 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - AlexFermoy, Ireland2 contributionsNo signage. No routes. No pathways. Not really convenient for uphill runs. Not friendly for families or dogs either. Too low for climbers. Nothing Interesting really.. quite nice view from the top.
If you want to climb straight to the top via kings yard you will have to go across the fields full of sheep feces. It's low but steep hill. Overall experience very unpleasant to be honest. Could be nicer and more structured (safer?). Perhaps I am used to Alps too much :) my opinion is my own.Written 19 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
