We had our wedding at Tunnels Beaches Friday just gone and i have to say it was the most perfect day ever, from
The 2 houses we were allocated which were immaculate and spacious to the venue which you felt like you were abroad.

Jaques the day organiser was brilliant and made us feel at ease! Every guest has said it was the best wedding they’ve been to! Also to the small things like emailing them with questions & getting answers straight away.

I cannot recommend Tunnels Beaches highly enough! Oh and if you are getting married i would DEFINITELY get Daniel Costin the sax player - unbelievable! Got the party started!

We visited the tea room this afternoon. The owners were very welcoming, accommodating and attentive.
The fruit scone was delicious and at great prices too.
We visited whilst on our holiday, and it was the perfect ending to our trip.
    We would highly recommend.

This is an old-school local museum that tells you something about the history of Ilfracombe. There are not that many rooms, but they are chock-full of artefacts and curiosities, a lot of them once living. The visitor can gawk at stuffed specimina of birds, numerous jars containing bats and sundry deformed animals, as well as rickety old drawers that are full of butterflies (be careful with those; they are really showing their age). Other display cabinets contain matchboxes, razors, canes and guns.
There is also an exhibition with a film on the erstwhile Ilfracombe railway, but as I am not familiar with any of those places, that was less gripping to me.

If, like me, you have never been to Ilfracombe before, this is a pleasant way to spend an hour or so.

We loved the coastline and walks around Ilfracombe. The harbour is picturesque. The new Lime Kiln cafe opposite the harbour is an absolute gem of a find. We had a great week in and around Ilfracombe.

Harbour Lights was a very nice little place to stay and so close to the Harbour itself, and shops, we were greeted with a lovely lady who explained and answered all the questions we asked,
One thing I want to mention, however not sure if this is covered, there was alot of stairs to climb as soon as you entered the building, please check before
Breakfast is extra at the hotel opposite for a fee (optional) however it was very nice.
Car Parking is very close by and as i have read other reviews i would strongly suggest using the Ring n Go via a mobile app, you can research online for prices.
We will definitely stay here again and recommend to others. Thank you

We visited whilst on holiday nearby and had a great day out. The kids in our group loved the soft play, pumpkin trail, and the animals. We managed to get round the whole park with a pushchair despite the warnings of the steepness - the worst but is getting down from the car park!

Nice little town, plenty to do so long as you don't go on a 2 hour boat trip. Excellent fish and chip shop on the harbour. Good parking especially on the church site. We had a good day there.g

Nice little aquarium. Very educational, the cycle of fish from pond to ocean. Small variety of fish but good activities for children to do on way round which are age appropriate.

    What a location!
The only access is on foot approximately 15 minutes walk from nearest car parking but it’s well worth it.
The cove looks like it should be in New Zealand rather than North Devon.
The 240 steps (yes,I counted them) to the beach are steep and not recommended if you’re unsteady on your feet or have height issues but otherwise worth the effort remembering that you have to climb back up again.
Best visited at low tide as most of the beach disappears when the tide comes in.

We were in the area and decided to have a walk around here. The views are nice. It feels relatively safe to walk around although the area does seem like it isn't looked after with litter, dog poo, dog poo bags etc around. Nice place to visit if you are in the area and the weather is good.
