- Jayne H12 contributionsIf the snow conditions are good, excellent for real beginners or intermediates. There are better resorts suited for true blue skiers.
Nice flattish training school areas but other blues can be tricky, steep or icy in places. The whole area is hard to travel across without red runs too. So more geared towards intermediates. If you are in this category though the runs are wide and therefore quite forgiving. Good for building confidence.
If icy can be tricky though.
Lower slopes on both sides of the valley can get over skied and churned up. Stay higher up and take the lift down on your way home.
Link bus is a quick system for getting across to the opposite side of the valley from where you are (north or south). Use the normal bus lines (stops at each stop) for traveling up or down each side.
Food on the mountain found at main lifts mainly. Typical variety of ski lunches inside and out. Prices probably average for Italian ski resorts.
Shopping tax free here so alcohol and clothes can be cheaper. Lots of designer shops in the centre of town.

A very interesting look at early life in the valley up to modern days. Information in English is very good. The local staff are happy to provide more info and share local knowledge if required.

Form what I can tell they are the only school in Livigno that is specialised in snowboarding. They are extremely friendly and professional.
