Really great experience spent the afternoon here with our 2 boys 14&15 years old. Its is tough to keep the young generation thrilled. Really unique experience with climbing and jumping into pools from 7 meters, abseil down the rocks and dropped into dark pools. Not for the faint hearted or if you are afraid of heights. Really good to get the adrenaline pumping and keeping those who seek adventure happy. Tried to go back for a second session but was booked out for a week.

Very beautiful view during this hike, a good mix between the sea and the green landscapes, easy level

Really beautiful walk, the promenade is tree lined, lots of greenery, buskers all the way up to the port. There was also a cinema set up and two bars to stop at and inflatables on the beach.

We liked the diversity of the landscapes, there was a beautiful building resembling a small castle, very well maintained

Proceed with caution. This is a good place but 2 hours is the maximum any one could take
A fairly reasonable level of fitness is required. Boys age 15&14 both enjoyed it but were spent after just 2 hours glad we didn't book for 4 hours. Adult and children were left with several bruised bodies in some cases very severe. One young lad in another group ended up with a broken nose.

Great beach, able to park even in August free of charge. Toilet facilities, along with shower, lifeguard station. Not too crowded, family atmosphere. Lovely backdrop of hills. Food and snacks together with beach supplies on road near beach. Water clear and sand clean.
Did get a little windy at times but this was welcome as we were rather warm.

We saw this advertised multiple times in the area and thought we'd give it a go. First impressions wasn't great as i wanted to ask one question to the receptionist about prices however was told that i needed to wait whilst she was waiting on another customer to find something on their phone. She then proceeded to talk to other customers which where behind me. Despite this fact, we booked banana boating which was an incredible experience- ive never done it before and loved every second. The boat had nice chilled music whilst waiting for another group and the staff was very friendly.

A very strict rule applies to most of the beaches in this region whereby dogs are not allowed, even if kept on their lead. A visit to the Tourist Information Office in Argelès sur Mer confirmed this but the helpful assistant gave us a brochure with a map of the area and marked the two end points were the beach is not supervised, meaning no lifeguard posts are available, and where dogs are tolerated if kept on the lead.
Helpful info but quite a difficult holiday if you happen to be a dog owner! Hence, come prepared with a list of alternative open sea swimming sites.

Before coming to Argeles we knew nothing about the Retirada. this very friendly and accessible museum filled the gap in our knowledge. Very sobering and very accessibly presented. Only 4 Euros entry too for adults.

Love to stroll over the lunapark after dinner on the boulevard. Eating a crêpe, and finish a round of shooting, this year i was lucky and won a lot. Very nice, not big but wit the seaside boulevard behind it very nice. 👍👍

Took the grandchildren and although it was a bit expensive we all enjoyed it. There were lots and lots of goats and sheep, some pigs and chickens. Some you could pet and others you can feed. Ponies to ride and bike as well. We didn't think much to the picnic lunch that we bought and wished we had taken our own.

Really worth to come here and admire the different untouched wild herbs and flowers coming out of the sand, and eventually reach the wonderful sea. Unusual.

€5 euros a child (or 3 tickets if you've got them from the fair) for as long as you like. No refreshments or toilets on site but you are welcome to bring in anything you like and plenty of seating. Might be trickier for single adult families though not impossible as plenty of facilities around. He has asked to go back despite 2 hours there so that's good enough a recommendation for me! Worth a visit if your teen still has an inner younger child they like to set free away from peers :)
