What travellers are saying
- AnnmarieLisnaskea, UK8 contributionsHad the best day with my two teenager girls. The loved it. What can I say the staff went above and beyond to help my girls, as we speak English and the rest of the group was french. They translated the instructions and gave advice. The food in the restaurant was very tasty and reasonable priced. I would also like to say at the front desk the English speaking lady was so nice she phoned a taxi for us and keep checking for it to arrive. I will definitely be back and would highly recommend this place.Written 23 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Lizzie49ColinSkibbereen, Ireland46 contributionsStunning walking path to Collioure. Wear proper footwear as the path is rocky. Families do mind the children as some small parts follow unprotected edges. The start is located at the end of the pedestrian street after Racou Plage. Follow the yellow signs. If you plan on taking the boat back from Collioure, park at the free car park on the left before the Racou round about. The path back from the port will lead you back to this car park. If you plan on walking back the same way, then park at the Sardane car park at the beach. You will have to pay from the machine and display the ticket in the car. The path leads you all along the coastline if you wish. We followed the yellow signs which leaded us at one point behind the campsite before la Crique des Porteils which was not as interesting but shaded at least. You will arrive in Collioure at parking no 5. It's an easy walk then to the village and you can catch a boat at the harbour very frequently.Written 25 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SmartDamoCostessey, UK4,592 contributionsReally beautiful walk, the promenade is tree lined, lots of greenery, buskers all the way up to the port. There was also a cinema set up and two bars to stop at and inflatables on the beach.Written 19 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MeganJZurich, Switzerland29 contributionsWe had made a beautiful walk in nature, from start to finish we were alone, we had not seen any touristsWritten 27 November 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - PatandBrianMoraira, Spain237 contributionsTook the grandchildren and although it was a bit expensive we all enjoyed it. There were lots and lots of goats and sheep, some pigs and chickens. Some you could pet and others you can feed. Ponies to ride and bike as well. We didn't think much to the picnic lunch that we bought and wished we had taken our own.Written 25 April 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MeganJZurich, Switzerland29 contributionsWe liked the diversity of the landscapes, there was a beautiful building resembling a small castle, very well maintainedWritten 27 November 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Rebecca2 contributionsWe came here to play mini golf and to take a look at the canyoning, upon arriving we saw the drop in park which was closed until the 1st June so we booked the adventure park for the following day and decided to wait and book both water activities together, canyoning in the morning and drop in jump park in the afternoon and it was 100% worth the wait!
We all absolutely loved it, our boys 17 & 13 enjoyed every bit and there is something for every ability.
We have a few bruises from some questionable landings but that’s all part of the fun!
The staff are friendly and encouraging making you feel at ease throughout!
It’s an amazing place and we definitely return if we holiday here again!Written 1 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Car park at the entrance right or left. Slightly overpriced ( mostly spent 4 or 5 euros on the rides except bumper cars) Good selection of rides but no inbetween either too easy or too scary. Good fun though for the familyWritten 23 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Trish PLuton, UK13 contributionsGreat beach, able to park even in August free of charge. Toilet facilities, along with shower, lifeguard station. Not too crowded, family atmosphere. Lovely backdrop of hills. Food and snacks together with beach supplies on road near beach. Water clear and sand clean.
Did get a little windy at times but this was welcome as we were rather warm.Written 30 August 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - LaurenEast Sussex, UK15 contributionsWe saw this advertised multiple times in the area and thought we'd give it a go. First impressions wasn't great as i wanted to ask one question to the receptionist about prices however was told that i needed to wait whilst she was waiting on another customer to find something on their phone. She then proceeded to talk to other customers which where behind me. Despite this fact, we booked banana boating which was an incredible experience- ive never done it before and loved every second. The boat had nice chilled music whilst waiting for another group and the staff was very friendly.Written 20 September 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Laura L14 contributionsA very strict rule applies to most of the beaches in this region whereby dogs are not allowed, even if kept on their lead. A visit to the Tourist Information Office in Argelès sur Mer confirmed this but the helpful assistant gave us a brochure with a map of the area and marked the two end points were the beach is not supervised, meaning no lifeguard posts are available, and where dogs are tolerated if kept on the lead.
Helpful info but quite a difficult holiday if you happen to be a dog owner! Hence, come prepared with a list of alternative open sea swimming sites.Written 6 August 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
