We found great results, but some are outside Seine-Maritime. Showing results in neighbouring cities.
Limit search to Seine-Maritime.
#1 of 14 Museums in Rouen
It's part of the troika of close-by museums including the Beaux arts museum and the Museum of Porcelain.
The city of Rouen offers several free of charge good museums for the interested.
#2 of 8 Museums in Le Havre
This five-story town house built around a central light shaft dates back to the late 18th century and is now a museum, retracing on a very realistic way the life of a family of merchants.
#1 of 2 Museums in Fecamp
Museum dedicated to the city history, his inhabitants since the old age and the history of cod fishing until the end of this activity.
Great museum with fantastic views from the top floor.

We walked there from the cruise port shuttle drop-off at the Volcano; delighted we ignored the ship's museum expert tell us "all the museums in LeHavre are closed on Mondays": lie!...I checked online, MuMa is clos...
We were shown unusually warm hospitality at the museum, as few of the cruisers seem to know about this institution and its wonderful collection of impressionist paintings as well as modern art and special exhibits.

One of the best museums I have been to.
While in France we also visited the Louvre, the Musée de L'Armee (also in Paris), The Airborne Museum in Sainte-Mère-Eglise, Normandy, and the the Musée de Beaux Arts in Bordeaux.

I go to Rouen every year, and I always go to this museum (and the other two museums, the Ceramic Museum and the Ironworks Museum, both of which are unique and remarkable).
Outstanding collection, and you can visit in peace and quiet unlike Parisian museums.

Once a school for boys and more recently an art school, we were told that they are in the process of making this into a museum.

Other than that pet peeve the museum is a go to place if you consider local history a part of your visit.
Nice museum
Chateau-Musee Dieppe

We have seen enough museums to be a bit jaded but thought we would try it.
The churches are beautiful and the Museum of ivory speaks eloquently of an artistic past.
Ecomusee de la Pomme et du Cidre Bretteville-du-Grand-Caux

When approaching the museum, you may see different cattle on its territory: sheep, geese, horses even a donkey!

The Ceramics Museum is another part of the "Rouen Museum" - small thematic museums with free admission around the city.
We took the train from Paris for a day trip and managed to visit 6 attractions including this wonderful museum.
#7 of 14 Museums in Rouen
The second part of the museum is mainly focused on children, giving birth (with fabric dolls re-enacting a live birth) and some dentist equipment in the back.
Read Ch11 in Madame Bovary then go to this remarkable museum .
#1 of 2 Museums in Etretat
Even if you haven't read any of the Arsène Lupin novels, this museum is well worth visiting.
MuseoSeine Caudebec-en-Caux
#1 of 2 Museums in Caudebec-en-Caux
For an entrance fee of 5 Euros per adult, we found this to be an excellent, modern museum, perfect for both French and English speaking visitors.
The museum covers the geography, history and economy of the lower Seine through an exciting range of displays, videos and virtual characters from the past.
Musee de la Corderie Vallois Notre-Dame-de-Bondeville
#1 of 1 Museums in Notre-Dame-de-Bondeville
Located near Rouen, on the river Cailly, the museum bears witness to the days when there were so many factories in this valley, that it earned the nickname of "Little Manchester".
Excellent museum with working machinery

The first you pass from the street is the Natural History Museum; the second is the Museum of Antiquities.
The museum is free and is located next to the Museum of Natural History.

This privately owned, I think, museum is well worth a visit.
On two floors the ground floor of the museum has life size dummies dressed in all the Allied and Nazi uniforms together with weaponry.
