A great camping or day trip option. Nice calm bay for swimming. Make sure you check opening times on the website before you leave home.

We opted for the longer walk and decided to do the 9km ‘Coomie’s Walk’ loop.
Takes you out through the bush. (Can be quite rocky in some sections but my young children & I easily managed it) absolutely amazing scenic views on this walk and the views are worth the effort.
Only downfall is Coomie’s walk has a lot of trails leading off & terrible signage until you get to the main track out of the bush so could be easy to take a wrong turn or two.

An easy 30 minute walk in to Gosangs Tunnel from Abrahams Bosom beach car park at the end of Currurong township. I found gloves and knee pads helpful on the 20 metre crawl through the tunnel/cave.
Turn right after crossing the timber bridge over the estuary. Follow signs to Marion’s Way and Mermaids Inlet. Check the metal map en route to find a small notch scratched onto the map almost at 8. Mermaids Inlet - this marks the location of the cave (not written on map). Take Gosangs Tunnel track when signed and then take right fork after one minute.
We were well rewarded by fantastic sandstone cliffs and breathtaking breaking ocean waves on exiting the tunnel.

We had great fun getting out to the lighthouse, and there are many nice beaches on the way. The view from Point Perpindicular is amazing and wehad the good fortune to see whales

A short drive through Beecroft Penisula and you hit this gorgeous hidden gem. Travel 100m down the board walk tot he sand from the car park and you are in heaven. Not as popular as the other beaches in the area which makes it a winner for us. Perfect for beach picnics with the little ones having small waves and secluded wind breaks.

Do not miss this place on any account --if you can get hold of its owner Michael, that is. Makes the most spectacular shiraz and (sometimes) cabernet wines in his ...garage! He got scored 92 points by Robert Parker himself, will you believe, on some of his vintages, and one can taste that too. We had the privilege of a full range tasting, some of his world class shiraz 2003 (no longer available on the open market, alas) and went away happily with a case of his other nectars
