- malc1005Kettering, UK4,787 contributionsAt the top of Mont Faron, this museum is well worth a visit. Full of historical pieces, and very informative. Friendly staff. - Lechiffre1Monaco888 contributionsAn interesting and worthwhile stop at Saint Cyr. I was quite surprised and spent longer than anticipatedWritten 17 May 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- NormandInLondonLondon, UK918 contributionsFun and charming collection of bric-a-brac exploring provencal life. Exhibits include a beautiful chapel, a typical provencal kitchen, a reconstructed mine (recalling Brignoles' mining boom). Expect under an hour for the small museum itself, but Brignoles, an undiscovered charmer, deserves walking in its historic alleys.Written 14 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - christopher kSalernes, France137 contributions. frankly the art in the gallery section is not very interesting but woth a visit to see the section on the WW2 Resistance . aups like all the villages around suffered at the hands of the Germans and brave locals put up a hidden fight .It worth while seeing the documents etc and we need to respect those who fought and suffered .Written 25 November 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sylvain G.Lugrin, France196 contributionsA nice little museum that recalls the history of earthenware in the village. There are a lot of explanations, and the museum is maintained by a non-profit organisation.
We went there with the kids at a special occasion including a workshop on earthenware, in which the kids had the opportunity to mould their own creations.
So I would say it is especially worthy with kids if you can get the creation workshop. Otherwise, it is good if you are a fan of earthenware.Written 16 September 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
