Beautiful winery with a wonderful sculpture garden, killer views, and good wines. We were there on a Saturday, and they had a live band and a taco truck. The staff are super friendly and helpful.
    I highly recommend.

Great place if you like learning about our country's history. Tons of interesting things to see here in addition to all the vintage and more modern airplanes and military hardware. The docents are wonderful. It is just a mile or two off Hwy. 46 East and well worth the trip. I look forward to my next trip to Paso Robles just to see what additions have been made, because they are always improving the place.

Perfect venue and experience for the entire family. We took my teenage niece and my elderly in-laws with us. Everyone had a wonderful time. My father-in-law struggles to walk but we were able to use one of the complimentary wheelchairs available.

Morro Bay is a childhood destination which has stuck with me for 60 years. It has changed a lot, there are many more people, but still no tourist traps. All my years of coming, I never had gone wine tasting in the nearby wine country of Paso Robles. What a lovely 2 days we spent! We would watch the sun hit Morro Rock, and light up the stones which had been wettened the night before by rain, then we would head down to the Rock and look at the HUGE waves breaking OVER the breakwater, then around to the other side of the rock to watch the surfers trying to get out to 10-15 foot waves, as a swell came in. Then breakfast at one of the many great spots... a walk by the Estuary, then off to taste wines at one of the wineries in Paso Robles - a beautifully green, winding road, beautiful vineyards, and within 20 minutes you're able to sit and snack and engage in a tasting. Our two favorites were Changala, and Croad, and third place was AronHill. We learned about dry farming too, something I found fascinating!
From Morro Bay, you can take a short drive North, and watch Elephant Seals, or find a zebra on a hillside!
IN Morro Bay there are numerous Sea Otters, so playful and cute.
I could go on and on and on - there is so much to do and see in Morro Bay!

Went as a family with two parents, three kids (ages 10, 8, and 4), and two 73-year-old grandparents. It was such a great experience. Definitely more than I expected. Three dollar entry is very reasonable, and we were surprised to learn that our fourth grade child (download their CA Adventure Pass) got us all in for free! Docents were lovely, search and find activity booklet for the kids was helpful for them to connect with the information in the museum. We also did the virtual reality, headset activity and learned about elephant seals inSan Simeon. A great two hour stop. Places to picnic right outside and easy parking and bathrooms.

Fantastic art gallery. Amazing variety. Beautiful colors. Prices ranging from reasonable to darn expensive. Stumbled onto this place, and glad I did.

Enjoyed seeing this amazing collection of local pioneers inside the museum building. A big plus is the collection of vintage farm tractors in the garage. Wonderful photo opportunities of the vintage school house and vintage jail house.

I've visited 3 - 4 times, always bringing new people with me. For the size, quality of the collection and the price of admission, it's a "must see" while you're anywhere near Paso, and that means Morro Bay, SLO, Pismo, Lake Nacimiento, etc. If you choose to skip the air museum, expect to spend 45 minutes to 1.5 hours with the cars, unless you've got a car nut with you.

Popped in for a quick visit. Lots of interesting photographs and info on SLO history. Had a nice chat with the docent who was there on his first day!

Visited the museum with my 1.5 year old grandson. The whole family had a delightful time here and we plan to visit again before his visit is over. There were plenty of things to keep him engaged for the couple of hours we spent here.

The Avalon is in front of this museum. The Avalon was a Mystic-class deep-submergence rescue vehicle rated to dive up to 5000 feet to rescue submarine crews trapped deep under the sea. Really something to see!

Nice little museum with docents and interactive things to do with the kids. Several exhibits and friendly volunteers to explain the marine sanctuary that is just off shore from Monterey to Cambria.
