- Robert ThomasSydney, Australia21 contributionsA wonderful place to visit with lots of great rainforest wildlife and history. - StanoxleyWorthing, UK42 contributionsThis place is amazing a beautiful place with a river running down through the rain forest and plenty of trails to walk around, lots of wildlife to be seen & the noise off the forest is unbelievableWritten 13 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - jajavalBLampang, Thailand2,761 contributionsIt’s claimed to be one of the oldest rainforest in the world, another is in Madagasscar. The unique flora and fauna here are amazing to be learned and explored. Many point of attractions, such as Daintree river cruise to encounter freshwater, estuarine crocs, platypus seeing, canopy walk, mangrove trail, seaside , swimming in capetribulation and many picturesque lookouts, one is Alexandra lookout. If you have limited time, 1 day waterfall circuit for adventurer or 1day daintree river tour is ok.Written 3 November 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Brent RBuchs Aargau, Switzerland19 contributionsWas a bit reluctant to shell our the fee, but it turned out to be a very interesting, informative and educational afternoon. Plain, direct and in unpretentious manner we were introduced to exotic fruit and the history of the family run plantation in Cape Tribulation. If you are at all interested in botany or fruit in general, highly recommended.Written 7 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Samantha FSydney, Australia20 contributionsWe did the exotic fruit tasting. The host was friendly and happy to share her knowledge of tropical fruit farming.
The tasting was a bit long for our youngest child (5yr), but the atmosphere was friendly.Written 30 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I believe parking is limited. And is right off the road so you need to be on the lookout prior to approaching the area.Written 29 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - 261marikapLakes Entrance18 contributionsAbsolutely loved this place. So different to your winery experiences. Go in there and try them all. You can taste 4 then sales are expected, and fair enough.
Don't go by the bottle label. Listen to your host and learn all about pairing even though if I like it I drink it but it all made perfect sense.
As the driver I didn't taste all 11 but mainly because if I asked what you could possibly liken it to, I 100% knew I wouldn't enjoy it. EG like a Pinot Noir. You will be surprised in your mind what you thought you would like to what you will actually enjoy.
I am not a chocolate person and was something I'm sure I wouldn't like let alone purchase. We bought 12 bottles between 4 of us and opted for postage which is really reasonable.Written 12 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Best to go on a tour at night or early morning before all the chattering tourists descend.
Farnorthescapes run an evening/dark walk through this boardwalk, and it’s amazing what you see.
Annoying things are chattering tourists, or tourists on their phones chattering away, whilst you are trying to be quiet and spot the wildlife.
On the night walk I managed to spot a python, bandicoot, rat, spiders, frogs and lots of other things.Written 30 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Lisa MBrisbane Region, Australia6 contributionsThis was our favourite beach to visit in North Queensland. We swam even though stingers were said to be a problem.
