Graham is amazing. We saw his art in Sydney on our honeymoon , and immediately fell in love with Sam and Charlie the emus. But we are cabin baggage only kind of people, so we couldn’t buy them.
When we got back my lovely husband conspired with him in secret and got a print shipped all the way to Rome, where we live.
I’m over the moon with it!

We were lucky enough to have a perfect sunny day to visit these markets. Although not a huge market it has lots of interesting items to view. There seemed to be less food options than last time we visited, but certainly enough to enjoy. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area when the markets are open.

Paddy’s Market at Haymarket inevitably comes into the conversation with tourists when the question is asked “Where do we buy souvenirs from?”. Paddy’s Market is located below Market City shopping center.

Paddy’s is very much a marketplace for cheap clothes and other souvenirs you may want tk bring back home. Bargaining is very much encouraged here.

Having not visited the place for 9 years, there are not as many stalls as it used to. There are empty lots where stalls ought to be but which are now taken up by seats for people to rest and sit around as they shop; visible signs of the economic impact of the pandemic.

This is such a great mall with floors and floors of shops, from lower end stores to the high-end luxury stores. You can find anything here and if you need a place to rest, there is an awesome foodcourt on level 5 with lots of great food choices.

If you like shopping, this is definitely not a place to miss

The residents of Glebe and Annandale fought for forty years to save this building, which serviced 220 trams a day when in use as a tramshed. Now a centre with supermarket some shops but mostly good dining. Very accessible by public transport.

This smaller Sydney gallery space never disappoints. It showcases works by the artist, whose diverse materials and techniques include painting, drawing, sculpture, mixed media and printmaking. The upstairs studio space has been preserved, so visitors can get a sense of some of Whitely's passions and influences as well as his studio set-up and practice. Exhibitions change yearly, sometimes more frequently, and are curated around the artist's major preoccupations and themes. Currently, Whiteley's love of his home and its setting in Sydney's Lavender Bay with its views across the harbour and lush maritime environment are on display. For people with an interest in art, Whitely's Studio is an absolute gem and a must.

I have been shopping here for years and years and years,
Whereas the shops have changed, the bargains haven't.
I very rarely pay full price for anything nowadays as the prices here are somewhat amazing.
I once got a pair of running shoes, in perfect, new condition, reduced from $280 right down to $35 as they were the last pair and when I went to other shops outside this outlet they were still the original price.
Shop here if you are on a budget or just don't want to pay full price.

A fun place to spend a few hours. Plenty to see and loads of eats. Many people with dogs, some of them snappy and yappy.

One of the oldest markets in Sydney selling arts, craft and fashion from local designers. You'll also find plants breads and pastries, coffee and a variety
of international foods. It is on the grounds of Historic Paddington Uniting Church and adjacent Paddington Public School. Toilets are on sight and there is a small childrens playground.
There is plenty of parking inside and around centennial park the closest point being about 5 minutes walk to the market. Check out our day. Best Sydney Parks

The Pitt Street Mall is one of the shopping hubs in Sydney. Most major chains are have stores here in some stunning buildings. This mall is quite clean and tidy and the people seem to socially distance as much as they can.

World Square is a small shopping centre. Its tenants tend to be restaurants but they obviously have the right choices of restaurant because we have ended up eating at the various restaurants in this shopping centre.

There is a large Coles shopping center which we used to stock up during our trip.

Probably more of an eating and grocery shopping kind of place rather than a place you want to go to if you want to shop for clothes.

Must have last visit market city a decade ago. Was really impressed by the range of eateries - balanced, varietal and some really good ones. Will surely try out some soon!! One thing that does not gel with me was the lighting - the white florescent colour is a bit too cool to me.
The paddy's market is still popular for both locals and tourists (not that many nowadays).

Plenty of stalls set up for a stroll on a beautiful Autumn day. Many more clothing stalls than other varieties.

We drove from the Blue Mountains just to have a day out in Roselle, and to check out the markets. It mostly seems to be clothes, shoes, some jewellery, bric-a-brac ,books etc. Quite a bit of fashion brand clothes, but you can’t be sure whether they’re real or they’ve just stuck on the brand name. But it’s a pleasant place to walk around and have a little look and very close obviously to the Roselle shops which is great when you need a bit of lunch.
