Barbi gave us a perfect day of touring by combining sites, food and drink in a way that was just right for us.
She grew up while Hungary was still under Communism and shared her fascinating insights and perspectives while we discovered the history, food, way around including the best strudel & ruin bars, with lots of tips...
Anna was able to tailor her comments to our interests, which were widely varied, but included: wine, food, current politics, agriculture, communism, history, family life, economic opportunities for young adults, etc.
We really enjoyed he mix of history, culture, and food on her tour!
He knows all the great photography locations, great out of the way places, the best food and provides the subway and bus tickets and calls your taxi.
Phenomenal Photo Tour AND Food Tour!!!
We all really enjoyed the morning, as Judit was a very passionate foodie and by sharing her attitudes and thoughts as well as fabulous authentic food we felt we learnt a great deal about modern, young Hungarians.
I love doing walking food tours to eat local, get a local's take on the history of the country, and find areas we might otherwise miss.

The wines were really great and the lunch we had was the best traditional food we had on our trip to Hungary, it was amazing as well as the hospitality, thanks to our guide Julianna for a lovely tour.
A delicious 3 course dinner of traditional Hungarian food was served and it really felt authentic to be experiencing it sitting in the cosy kitchen of the farmhouse rather than in a restaurant.

Budapest is a fascinating city and Nora's food tour is a perfect accompaniment to learning a little of the culture and much about the food and drink of Hungary.
From the surprise starting point of traditional apertifs, to the amazing stew, excellent coffee, robust cheeses and delicate baking, this tour gave us a tasty and tantalizing overview of Hungarian food traditions.

The venue is really clean, Anna is very nice and friendly, she kindly taught me how to make a traditional Hungarian food and prapika chicken, and cheers me with an amazing appetizing wine for such fantastic meal.

The wines were excellent, the food was very tasty - authentic but with a lighter more modern touch than many Hungarian restaurants, and the value fantastic.
Grateful friendly, very knowledgeable service, very English-language friendly and altogether a must-go-to for anyone interested in Hungarian food/wine.

You go at your own pace, and the hosts come round to your individual table once they recognise you've finished whatever drink you're on and bring you your next.

Cultivini Budapest
We sampled and nibbled, nibbled and sampled and enjoyed the wine, food and the expert help we received from the staff and the store's app.
We had some cracking reds and also tried some super-expensive but delicious honey-like drink - a leftover from the Tokaji-making process.
for ~6€pp price you get a very nice guided tour, tasting of 2 flavours of Hungarian national drink, an immersion into history of success of the factory and a view of hundreds tiny lil collectable bottles of alcohol.
For this we got to watch a video about the family behind the drink and had a guided tour of the distillery, including free samples!

Sauska Villany
Besides the inspired food and flawless wines, we particularly enjoyed the conversation with Chef Attila, which made this evening the highlight of our stay in Villany.
I could highly recommend it to anyone ready for a detour from Budapest... It's 2 hours only, but better to stay there a night as it will be difficult not to drink :)
My wife and I were treated to a history of the Great Market and Zita had arranged numerous "typical" Hungarian food samples during our visit and learned about their origins and sources.

Laposa Borbirtok Badacsonytomaj
Nice wines, friendly staff and great food to enjoy on a terrace where you can relax and enjoy the superb views of Lake Balaton!
Ours were almost all white (with one rosé), and each came with a detailed description and some time to sip and enjoy the drink.
... most exciting, the group reception space with the super acoustic cupola , where we tasted 6 different types of wine - wonderful taste and remarkably different to the Italian wines I am used to drink regularly.
