- ahe989222Larissa, Greece45 contributionsVery picturesque old town center. You must visit it all. Difficult parking, only with hungarian coins. Some - not all - speak english.Written 18 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- FernGlasgow, UK575 contributionsthis fire tower is a must do. we timed our visit to sopron specifically to make sure we could do this tower. the cheap entrance fee is worth it though the climb is very tiny and steep - if you have mobility problems i do not recommend coming here though there are a few places where you can stop if you have to. the view from the top is amazing! worth noting we visited sopron in april and other than here there was almost nowhere open and the town was very very quiet. we got up the tower quickly and there wasn't many others there.Written 28 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SocccaTolmin, Slovenia1,806 contributionsThe Storno house is located in the main square of Sopron. It has two floors with many rooms where you can see a lot of artefacts that Ferenc Storno, the chimney-sweeper had collected during his life. Definitely worth visiting!Written 27 August 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Ian GSamokov, Bulgaria168 contributionsThe toboggan is a fun way to spend an hour or two. They provide single tickets or a batch of six - for an adult 6 goes is 2200 HUF ( 7 Euro) they accept debit and credit cards so you don't need Hungarian currency.Written 5 June 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - KemenySkopje, Republic of North Macedonia2,013 contributionsIt is a nice initiative, to learn about the life of a miner and the mining process and mine areas. There were some interactive sessions also, when you are using the mine slide and the mine wagon that is a kind of fun. If you have some time, give a try. I suggest to do a more interactive exhibition, where everyone can find fun.Written 18 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - johannesfaAlvsjo, Sweden90 contributionsWe have been there several times over the years, and it is a favourite for the kids. The concept is simple snd brilliant. They give you the climbing equipment, teach you how to use it and check so you have understood at a trial track. Then you can go any of the three adult and three kids tracks as you want. They are all very good! For the really small kids, there is a baby track as well (no need for equipment), which they can try from when they can walk. Kids can do the kids track roughly from the age of 4, if they get good support from adults.
There are only two negative things with the park. The toilets are not very good and there are typically plenty of mosquitos. One piece of advice is to remember to bring mosquito repellent.Written 25 July 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - 545medvaBudapest, Hungary3,897 contributionsThis is a church outside of the core city center. It is simply beautiful. A real baroque wonder. Very nicely and rich decorated.Written 8 October 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- פריאל חTel Aviv District, Israel13 contributionsIt was quite an experience that by chance we met the curator of the exhibition in the renovated synagogue whose foundations go back to the middle ages. The exhibition tells the history of the jewish community in Sopron, the sad fate in the second world war and shows some items that display jewish life. I warmly recommmend the visit whether you are jewish or not.Written 11 November 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Go_And_WanderCanada416 contributionsHard to miss this sight as it is right in the middle of a square near the top of the downtown core. Went inside hoping to see the catacomb but did not see any staff to purchase ticket or any information indicating if it could be paid for self service. The inside of the church is very beautiful and there are plaques at different points (English section also) describing the history of different components found within the church. I left a donation near the door and continued with my walk. Would have liked to have seen more, but it's still a nice stop to check out.Written 2 May 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - tue14Vac, Hungary135 contributionsThis festival is organized since the 90”s but still managed to keep a part of its original spirit. Suprisingly significant part of the audience is not teenager but rather at their 40’s.
On top of the big concerts there are a lot of smaller attractions like concerts, theatre, Ferris wheel, dodgen, etc.Written 3 July 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
