Great place for everyone. Lots of space to walk around, run, explore, relax, enjoy the scenery. It's an oasis in the middle of the city, makes you feel like you're out in the wilderness, yet you're right by all kinds of restaurants and downtown happenings.

Beautiful location and great place for photos. Went there as we were driving up through the state parks in that part of South Carolina.

Brasstown Falls was impressive. You can see all three (upper, middle, lower) at several scenic viewing spots along the trail to the bottom. It’s s down and back hike. There are some wooden steps and one ladder to get to the lower falls. Getting in the water at the lower falls can be slippery but the water is waist deep and refreshing. The middle falls is also cool (temperature) but pulls a bit as it flows to the lower falls, but can be swam in. You can also go behind the falls if you’re adventurous and nimble. The hike in is about 30 min and a bit narrow in some spots.

Quite spectacular falls, not from a booming water flow standpoint, but from a huge array of small, narrow rivulets of water flowing over many, many ledges. The cumulative effect is stunning. We went on a winter weekday, so only a few people were on the trail. These falls could easily get overwhelmed with summer traffic, but they view is definitely worth the short hike.

This hike was so easy. Easiest of the three: Brasstown, King and Station Cove. It was a broad trail, no climbing over things, no steps. Felt like it took us 10 min to get there but it was likely 15. Impressive waterfall and cool water to wade in. We did see a brown snake in the water. Nice cascades. This is a must-see for non-hikers who want to experience a nice waterfall.

We saw 7 falls this trip and this was one of our favorites. We parked at Burrells Ford campground and it was a 20-30min hike from there to the falls (start at the trailhead marker in the parking lot). We saw one cottonmouth snake and a baby king snake. Also there was a lot of poison ivy and oak on this trail. We are very happy we did this beautiful, short, and easy trail.

Absolutely gorgeous. That hike tho. Trip advisor says "easy hike". That is a lie. Maybe easy for someone in shape but me and my old dog seriously considered jumping off the mountain the trail was uneven and hard on a person with limited abilities. I have liver disease and my old dog is over weight and 15 years old. We did not enjoy that walk. I'm pretty sure this trail is the one our parents walked to school uphill both ways.
If you can handle the hike tho, the falls are fantastic and as soon as the technology is invented so scotty can just beam me there I'd love to go again. It's worth it if you can handle the hike. The kids swam in a nice beachy area, some folks had grills they'd lugged up the mountain. Bless thier souls. A must see if you can handle the hike for sure.

The map lets you know off the bat that it’s less than two miles to the waterfall. For a 52 year old overweight male, It’s a long two miles...but very much worth it. What greets you at the end is a waterfall over 100 ft tall that is just gorgeous. The sounds, the clean air, and the feeling of the waterfall mist as it’s slams into the rocks near you is a magical experience. Highly recommend!

This was only a 20 min easy/moderate hike. The only scary part was right at the end where it was really muddy in a few places (along trail edges) and I was glad I had my hiking boots on for good grip. The trailhead wasn't marked well but if you drive to burrells Ford campground (kings fall entrance), then spoonauger falls is the next trailhead. Not sure why it wasn't marked but I took a picture of the entrance. Then into the trail there is a sign on the right to turn to continue to spoonauger falls, don't miss this. We saw other hikers who missed it. There is room to wade at the end and a large rock to sit on.

Camped behind the falls as a teenager. It has never been easy to get to, but you can get there by boat now with some ease. It is a day trip, so have those hiking boots on.

Pretty falls when we went, but may not be so in dry weather. Easy downhill hike in, but uphill almost all the way out. About 3 miles roundtrip
