- Sarah SSaint Louis, MO54 contributionsGeorge provided a fantastic tour. It was educational and entertaining! The Green Iguana Conservation Project is definitely worth the stop in San Ignacio. Recommend getting a drink at the hotel bar after!Written 22 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Paul FArcade, NY6 contributionsI enjoyed this ruin more than any of the others. Although smaller than many of the other sites we visited, this one seemed to show more of how they lived as there were many passageways and rooms to visit. It was not very busy either and we actually had the place to ourselves for a short while. The visitor's center was very informative.Written 22 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Noelle501Belize City, Belize30 contributionsA small group of us visited the gardens on a Sunday. The only guides available were Maggie and Daisy who were fantastic. I’m attaching photos of the guides so you know which ones I’m talking about. They made sure we saw everything, didn’t rush us and we never had to use our map to figure out where we were because they lead us around the loop at a perfect pace.
The gardens are so beautiful and well maintained and good signage is everywhere. It’s a peaceful, beautiful and educational place to spend the day. The drive out is pretty also and the road is way better than it used to be - at least in this dry season!Written 7 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. My mom has been a longtime fan of his work so we reached out to Walter to see if we could stop by one Sunday afternoon. He and his partner welcomed us into their home and he showed us his studio and elaborated on his creative process, shedding light into his wondrous mind and how his artistic style has evolved over the years. We truly enjoyed our time. They even took the time to show my son the animals in the yard and gave us eggs from the chickens. Was a Sunday afternoon well spent! Highly recommend if you’re a lover of the arts.Written 29 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Todd MSammamish, WA9 contributionsThe museum is interesting, with information about local species and some Mayan history. The most fun is the butterfly room where butterflies land on you and we learned about their breeding project.Written 6 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
