It was a great tour of Tikal. I booked the group tour and there were only two of us. Our guide spoke in both Spanish and English explaining our trip as we went. The whole experience was stress-free and made a really enjoyable day. Our guide accommodated each of our different needs and I learned so much.

Very great day with Winston. Awesome experiences in san juan with the mayan weavers and medicine abuelas. Recommend eating before you show up, so much to do we did not finish until late! Well worth the price for the day. The drive alone is worth it.

Our tour experience with By Authentic Guatemala on 5/21/22 was nothing short of amazing. Our driver Luis was on time and was great company on the 2 hour drive from Antigua. The car was clean and he drove safely. He dropped us off at Lake Atitlan about an hour early allowing us time to eat breakfast and have coffee with the locals. Afterwards I was in need of Lotion and he went store to store with us searching for some. Our tour then began to Joel(Yo-el) and he was equally as amazing. We're so thankful to him for sharing his story and culture with us giving us. I would 10/10 recommend this service.

Very cool experience! Hiking a volcano is a bit surreal. A little work to do but if you can walk two miles on a street no problem, not for coach potato people. Wear hiking shoes or boots not gym shoes. Nathan out guide was excellent and would highly recommend this tour.

We decided to take this tour because we did not have time to go there on our own. The guide was very kind, talkative and gave us a lot of information about everything.

I booked a private shuttle to Antigua from gua city, however the weather was not on our side. Rafael suggested we visit the Hobbigeton area after I showed him 3 places I really wanted to see. Despite the bad weather and language barrier between Rafael and I, we had the most wonderful time exploring, taking photos and taking in the views. As a solo traveler he was a kind, accommodating, and knowledgeable companion. I would highly recommend booking a tour with him if you find yourself in Guatemala. He was wonderful!

It was a very great and worthwhile experience, Elida is very sweet and she went above and beyond to make sure we all had a good day. She is an excellent photographer as well and recommended some great spots to take pictures. Furthermore, she is very attentive and was able to anticipate every need before we even realized we needed it. There were long waits at times and she handled everything with the highest professionalism. We travel a lot and have been on many tours and this your was definitely one of the best we've experienced. I would recommend anyone to take a tour with this company especially if you can get Elida.

My friend Corey and I had a wonderful time exploring the beautiful cities of Antigua and Guatemala City. It was especially awesome because our English speaking tour guide, Esteban Calvillo, who was not only well informed in the the history of Guatemala, but he really enjoyed teaching foreigners on the history as well. Antigua is a traveler's favorite, well known for its cobblestone streets, volcano views, colonial architecture, and also it is the best known preserved Spanish Colonial city in Central America. Absolutely loved it. We also visited some of the main important areas in Guatemala City such as Mercado Central (central market) where we bought some fun handicrafts, blankets, and leather products at very affordable rates. We also visited the Palacio Nacional (National Palace) and took some photos and hung out with some locals. Finally, one of my places we visited was a place called Kaminaljuyu which is the site of the ancient Mayan civilization that dated back to 1500 B.C
Thanks Esteban for making this tour very very fun and insightful. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Guatemala!

This was a great way to relieve our designated driver for a day and so glad we opted for this tour. A lovely little hike to see Pacaya Volcano close-up, we were the first party to ascend that day and glimpsed some lava. The views from the top were well worth it and taking El Arenal route on the descent was an adventure. After the hike, the Kawilal Spa was just the ticket! We even had the whole area to ourselves due to the pandemic, so all felt very safe. The smoothie and lunch there were also very delicious. Could have done with a tad more direction at times, but all part of the fun!

Our tour guide, Jennifer, was informational, enthusiastic, and went above and beyond for us! Not only did she teach us and show us so much of Altamira and Hobbitenango she was so generous helping us take pictures, suggesting what to eat, etc. Her passion for tourism was evident from the moment we met her and it made the tour unforgettable. Truly the best tour guide I've ever had in any of the countries and tours I've been on! I miss Jennifer!!
