Tours Maputo has Ofiço drive me and just wanted to emphasize how good the drive was - very professional, very safe and with his English so good we were able to have conversation the entire way which really helped the time go by - as did the scenery of course, especially in Eswatini where the countryside is more hilly. This park feels different than Pilanesberg or Kruger in that the animals act more natural (i.e., they’re afraid of people). The beach is picturesque and might as well be your own private beach. - Cooperdog5Cleveland, OH63 contributionsThe guide is very knowledgeable and passionate. Smartly, the tour starts with a tok tok ride to the highest point the tour and then from there we walked to the pier which is all downhill.
One strong recommendation, buy a hat and some other trinket from the first vendor you see! My only regret was not doing the two day tour. In one day we saw so much but I wanted more.

The pick up in Maputo, the border burocracies, the articulation with kruger staff and the accommodation were all very well managed and everything was super confortable and smooth.

The trip was safe and Calisto is a very good driver.
He made everything to show and explain the animals to us. The wild life in the Kruger is beautiful and inspiring.
Calisto helped us so much. We're very grateful for having him as our guide, driver and friend.

The important you need to know or prepare is 1 Covid certificate 2 body insurance (car) 3 change the money in to R50 and Mozambik current.

The guides were extremely knowledgable, friendly, experienced, spoke perfect English, and set up a dynamic tour that combined culture, local food, history, and art. The car was clean, spacious and reliable. I 100% recommend MTS for anyone looking to get to know Maputo. - ArxitexterFort Lauderdale, FL1,354 contributionsOur Mabeco tour driver was waiting for us at the arranged time and he drove us to the entrance to Kruger Park and guided us through border controls from Mozambique to South Africa. Along the way we had a “boxed” breakfast of juice, water, apples, protein bars, and biscuits. We were met at the park entrance by our excellent driver and guide Nico Steyn. The early arrival meant we had a good chance of seeing animals and our expectations were exceeded: we saw 4 of the Big 5 and scores of additional species of bird and beast! A tasty and satisfying lunch was included at the Mugg & Bean, with a spectacular view across an estuarine landscape with giraffe and other animals.We can only say that we unequivocally recommend Mabeco.
