- BJLIrelandIreland63 contributionsGood visit here and an experience to watch Beach Show. We went for 7pm as it lasts for hour. Fascinating heat and skill of Males. Very busy area. We ate in Restaurant overlooking the beach.Written 13 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Doc BokVientiane, Laos242 contributionsDefinitely worth taking a day trip to visit. Water is really calm and you can kayak, snorkel and hike around here. The Blue Lagoon is protected so you can't swim there, but it is a beautiful spot to take pictures.Written 3 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Wanderer055441583141 contributionThanks for having me in this special Sanctuary.
Everything was great since the beginning til the end of the program. The staffs are very welcome. The program was very well run by professional staff, providing a specific information and entertaining at the same time. Most of all, it was a very great experience seeing how you treat them, take care of them, and love them. Highly recommend!! It was very windy while we were there so we didn't go swimming in the water but wandering up the beach was pleasant.
I will say that the hackers that walk up and down the beach can be a bit pushy though, we had the same person pass us a few times & each time they tried to sell us something we didn't want or need.Written 13 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. On return this year, the water is not as clear at all and there was rubbish and plastic everywhere on the sand. It’s a real shame I’m not sure what’s happened. It’s still lots of space to swim but I’d recommend going closer to the sala samui hotel for better water.Written 30 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jason RochePattaya, Thailand567 contributionsA wonderful experience visiting the Big Budda, to great bi shrines with many smaller shrines all surrounded by water. A beautiful place.Written 12 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- kerryRotherham, UK13 contributionsStunning. Not busy at all, shade offered by tree lined beach. Lots if stairs and wonky steps to clamber over.Written 26 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Jason RochePattaya, Thailand567 contributionsA nice beach with mostly villas and resorts, there are a few beach bars to visit. The beach is nice but when the tide is in you will get wet.Written 13 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - briony pLondon, UK203 contributionsChoengmon is a lovely and very chilled out beach, with a few select good bars restaraunts and massage parlours. One half of the beach is very rocky and the other half is beautifully flat sand out to sea so beat of both worlds. We loved walking along this beach in the evening to go and get dinner and dipping our toes into the warm water. If your not looking for a party place and somewhere to unwind and relax then this beach is itWritten 20 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - RedMaccaLiverpool, UK476 contributionsKoh Samui is quite a bit short of attractions. The Big Buddha was only built in the 70s, the best waterfall is redolent of a dripping tap until the rainy season kicks in properly, a fairy garden of Buddha statues in the middle of nowhere, a mummified monk in a nondescript temple in the mountains and Lamai Temple thinks papier-mâché figures are going to pull the crowds in. You’ve seen the pictures, you know what you’re going to see before you get here. I did. I still went. A few photos, a hunt for Grandma’s Rock (which could be any of 8, really) and awayyyy, as Bob Mortimer would say.Written 19 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - GaviBangkok, Thailand349 contributionsPicturesque area with clear waters and fine sands. The waters are absolutely gorgeous in colors, especially on clear sunny days. Both beautiful place to go for photos and for chillaxing.Written 4 February 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - sooz8 contributionsThis beach is about a 2km stretch of golden sands. The perfect place is you like peace and tranquility. There are some lovely local Thai restaurants along the beach offering delicious food at a really good price. Very few people on the beach, I had it all to myself frequently on the four days we spent here. Absolute bliss!Written 7 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- rascallThundersley, UK370 contributionsVery hard climb to get to the cable car that takes you to the viewpoint. Once there service is unrushed and under no obligation to buy food or drinks. On a clear dy the view over the island is magnificent. At 400B per person was quite expensive for what we got.Written 24 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
