Alternatively you can opt for horse and cart, open taxi, paddle boats in the lake or grab a coffee and food at many of the lakeside cafes and restaurants. The areas to the left of the map were good but some areas seemed to be in building works, areas to the right were beautiful - gorgeous flowers and models of wonders of the world, amazing gardens and statues and nice to walk around. Can comfortably walk the whole thing but buggies available and regular if prefer not to! We easily spent three hours here. Flowers and gardens were beautiful.
As someone who enjoys historical attractions and the stories behind them, there were a few signs that had english translations but would have enjoyed a few more to explain more context. There were a few things that were a little "disney-fied" (the "seven colour stairs", the souvenir shops with plush toys that don't seem related to the history of the place, the dress up/take photos in a "throne room", the statues of winged horses (!) ) - not exactly my cup of tea, but it means there's something for everyone.
Pleasant way to spend 1+ hrs.

Long, Ni, and Tim were attentive, patient, and fun guides who made me feel so safe and comfortable throughout the experience. What I really appreciated about this tour is that they cap the number of participants at 5-6 people so you get to spend more time abseiling and trekking than standing around and waiting. - Phoebe TrangHanoi2 contributionsImpressed by: the atmosphere, the warm wooden decoration, the nice staff, the massage. The lady who massaged for me was wonderful. She had not too rough and not too light pressure while doing the massage for me. The touch was delicate.
I chose: foot massage combo with: massage, foot bath (which is awesome <3) and head+shoulder massage. I felt totally relaxing from the moment I came inside the spa, being offered a smelling-good warm cup of tea, being guided by a nice receptionist staff and being massaged.

Bin took the time to show me a few local places off the beaten path and was very flexible in accommodating and catering to my personal interests.

We were picked up promptly in the morning and made way to the waterfall where we had some time to learn the skills and practice until we felt confident. Our guides Tony and Jerry were kind, funny and allowed us to do some things twice. Plenty of photos taken, we were provided with drinks and an excellent lunch. Our guides helped us book Bus tickets to our onward destination which was kind.
