What travellers are saying
- S LSan Diego, CA12 contributionsThe place is done up as a trying to be more of a tourist attraction, with a ropes course, alpine coaster, and various plaster spots to take pictures. When we visited it was a weekday so the park itself was pretty dead. Very few of the employees spoke English, but that's expected out here. Much of the park was closed as I believe flooding had recently closed lower points. This, the alpine coaster ticket ends up taking us there and then back to the top.
Waterfall itself wasn't all that grand, but it's nice that it isn't far from Da Lat itself. The alpine coaster was quite fun, but is an attraction that is fairly common (VinPearl and Ba Na Hills have good ones, with VinPearl being our favorite).Written 6 April 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. When we got to Thac Voi, the cab parked at the parking lot next to the giant lady Buddha (Linh An). Almost immediately a woman came to us saying the waterfall was closed and that she has a cafe across the waterfall with view over the whole fall. She gave us a folder of her cafe. The view could be nice from her cafe but it would be from a too far distance. We wanted to try to get as close to the waterfall. Glad we tried eventually. We tried 3 ways. The best and safest way was via a cafe called Elephant coffee, which was at walking distance from the lady buddha. Get out the parking lot and go to the right, walk to the crossing and cross the bridge where the water streams towards the waterfall. At the right hand is the cafe Elephant coffee. Here you pay 30000 Vnd to get a very nice view. There were 2 levels you can see the waterfall from, one right after the stairs from the top and one through a more muddy rocky path a level down. Both are well worth it! The pictures are from these 2 levels.
The other routes we tried was going down from the big lady Buddha which led through high and sharp-ish grass and eventually to a fence with a hole in it on the right side of the fence. We didn't go through cause the gap was a bit small and not sure what you can see at the other side.
The other route was just around the corner of the original entry (with a gate with the sign that it is 'temporarily' closed). Here are a few shops and a red old-ish building at the very end. Some shop vendor will come to you and ask you for 50000 VND per person. We were curious so we paid it, but eventually were not glad we did. It all looked very unsafe, super rusty, slippery and a lot of trash. Not strange cause this route is the 'illegal' way to get behind the gate which is supposed to be temporarily closed. So of course there is no maintenance done. When we got to the end of this route, there was a huge rock in front of the view of the waterfall. Did not look safe to climb the rocks there, so only saw the upper side half of the waterfall. All in all, we would recommend to save yourself some time and energy and go via the elephant coffee where you pay a smaller fee for a safe route and better view.

- nick_ngKuala Lumpur, Malaysia968 contributionsAt 2,169 metres, this is a highest point in the area and you get a great view of the surroundings. Taking the jeep ride is the fastest way up & down.Written 4 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Vince, Monkey and Coby were excellent tour guides they made the whole experience really enjoyable and took time with everyone individually to insure they were having a great time. Would highly highly recommend this activity and if you can try get Vince, Monkey and Coby as your guides as they really made the trip for me. Was definitely the highlight of my trip in Vietnam and I am going to recommend it to all my friends. Also the lunch was very good. :)Written 17 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Kathleen N2 contributionsHands down the highlight of my time in Da Lat! Such a special and exciting way to experience Datanla Falls, away from the crowds. Long, Ni, and Tim were attentive, patient, and fun guides who made me feel so safe and comfortable throughout the experience. What I really appreciated about this tour is that they cap the number of participants at 5-6 people so you get to spend more time abseiling and trekking than standing around and waiting. Highly recommend!Written 13 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Trinh V1 contributionI had an amazing experience! My guide, Bin, was awesome! Knowledgeable, experienced, courteous, and a very safe rider.
Bin took the time to show me a few local places off the beaten path and was very flexible in accommodating and catering to my personal interests.
Definitely recommend this tour company and if you're lucky, you will get Bin as your guide.Written 8 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We were picked up promptly in the morning and made way to the waterfall where we had some time to learn the skills and practice until we felt confident. Our guides Tony and Jerry were kind, funny and allowed us to do some things twice. Plenty of photos taken, we were provided with drinks and an excellent lunch. Our guides helped us book Bus tickets to our onward destination which was kind. We would definitely reccomend using this company, they want tourists to have an excellent and safe canyoning experience.Written 26 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - fenAntwerp, Belgium1 contributionWe did a daytrip from Hue to Hoi An and loved every minute of it!
Mr Viet and Bi have a lot of experience, in both driving and taking pictures ;)
We stopped at the Elephant Springs and a lagoon with fishing village, which we really liked. Would however not recommend the stop at the Golden Bridge/Ba Na Hills, as it was too busy and not really our thing.
We were able to take our time at the different stops and have some drinks and food along the way. - annaWanaka, New Zealand4 contributionsWe had a fabulous day riding and experiencing the beautiful countryside of dalat highlands with Mr Dragon and Du. They were excellent riders and were very safe and cautious. We learnt more than we imagined about such a variety of agricultural and cultural practices common to the area. We would highly recommend this as a great way to see the area and get the most from a full day. Thanks so much to Dragon and Du.Written 17 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
