    Great place just be good to yourself. Just stay cool and enjoy. Only bar to be right. Don take excees money. Drink to be in senses. Make sure you respect woman n girls.

    A pricey night of fun.
    Being my first time in Vietnam I decided to try out the more tame side of night life.
    New stocking is clean, spacious and safe. The mama-san or "madame" as the hostesses refer to her was a young girl who speaks very good English. She was also banging hot to boot.
    After sorting out the formalities of drinks and which set I would like to purchase (drinks, girl, karaoke) the mama-san brought in a conga line of hostesses to choose from.
    Being completely sober I was taken aback by all these eyes staring at me. I eventually chose a girl and the rest existed the room to leave us to it.
    The night consisted of lots of singing, a bit of drinking and a bit of talking to the hostess. The hostesses speak English of a slightly below conversational level but through gestures and guesswork most of what we said to each other was understood.
    New stocking is more of a high class night entertainment venue meaning no smutty stuff is going to happen.
    My girl was tidy and proper. She never asked for more money or drinks like they do in a strip joint.
    PRICE LIST:
    Karaoke and Drinks (25 beers or 1 whiskey + 5 beers or 1 shochu + 5 beers): 3 250 000D
    Girls: 400 000D

    JOHN GROBER'S TRIP TIPS:
    1) Have a drink or 2 before heading over to ease the pressure of a room full of girls and women staring at you while you decide which one you want.
    2) Mama-san cannot be hired. What a shame. I'll wife her one day.
    3) Ripping stocking is optional and will cost extra.

    High quality light and sound system. Excellent service and staff, customer satisfaction is absolute. Good!

    Looks like a high end gentleman's club. 200,000 per hour for the room, ladies fee is 500,000, beer is 45,000 per bottle or johnnie walkie black 1,090,000

    Japanese Hostess Club
    This is one of the many Japanese hostess bars on Ngo Van Nam Street. I went in there to take a look while I was checking out the street. The second time I tried to go in, they used high pressure sales tactics on me and said it was closed. "You don't choose girl." "You just look." Fine, I'll choose a hostess and try it out.

    They charge $40 for unlimited drinks with a hostess until closing time. Closing time is at 1am. The hostess claimed she did not drink and tried to drink Coca-Cola. She only agreed to drink whiskey with me if I agreed to pay for her taxi home. At the end, she asked me for taxi money, I opted to call her an Uber instead. She declined. Looks like was looking to drive home drunk with her motorbike, and then keep the "taxi money" instead.

    I guess this place is ok, if you are running solo and don't want to drink alone.
