Having been to plenty of markets around Asia this one was nothing mind blowing. I usually love bartering and exploring each individual stalls but i found the majority of them selling near identical items and nothing that I wouldn't be able to get back home albeit at a higher price. If you have been to other markets in HK or SG, I wouldn't waste my time here.

Fun place to spend a couple of hours. Lots of fun and laughs to be had at each stop along the way. Pay attention to the directions for each stop on the floor for the best results.

The mall where you can findTakashimaya.
There are also a variety of local and fusion food choices on the basement and higher floors of the mall. A small supermarket is at the basement as well.
Nothing too spectacular but a good place to find food and do regular mall stuff.

It’s an okay mall, nothing special. The food court on the bottom floor has a lot of good options tho. I would recommend visiting The New Playground instead, it’s an underground shopping complex across the street that offers local street wear brands. Much more exciting and genuine than just shopping your average western brands.

Located outside the city center, it took about 35-40mins by car from District 1 to come here to this huge and nice mall! It's bright, clean and comfortable to walk around.

As it was Sunday, the mall was very crowded as people came by here to shop and dine. Besides the anchor tenant Aeon, which is a big departmental cum supermarket store, there are also many boutique shops ranging from fashion, to sports, household, kitchenware, electrical and electronics, toys, stationery and books, apparently lifestyle items that cater to everyone. There are also cinemas and many arcade and games shops (on the upper floors) but were quite noisy as they were very loud.

And you will also be spoiled for choices for food as there are so many restaurants, eateries, cafes, bakeries, foodcourts, offering local, Asian like Korean, Japanese, Western, Singapore etc cuisines, spreading all over the mall, on the ground floor, 2nd and upper floors. It actually took us quite a while to decide where to dine after doing our shopping! :)

There are many things you can do here and since you have traveled quite a distance from your hotel in district, why not allocate more time here, to shop shop, walk walk and eat eat, before making your way back? You will need at least half a day here to modestly "skim" the place but more if you are into shopping!

"The Factory" Contemporary Arts Center in Saigon's newly posh Thao Dien district inside one of the bigger meanders of Saigon river, has opened in 2016 and is apparently going strong since, with great catalogues available

Rehahn is a renowned photographer whose works sell for significant sums. At the galleries you can enjoy many of his creations which capture the heart and soul of Vietnam and beyond. Definitely worth a visit and pick up a postcard or two for a budget memory.

A big area - many stalls but with similar goods - mostly clothing but some shoes and bags. Quite large food stall and product area. Look for quality cotton and silk items at some stalls. BARGAIN!

If you want a coat or T-shirt and aircon, then this is an option.
Personally I’d rather be in a market or street and found this to be like many other Asian low end small malls

I stay at sky garden now so it's really convenient for me to visit here for shopping and gym.
Also playing bowling, watching movies, and a rooftop garden for kids.
