    A thoroughly enjoyable experience in Vietnamese cooking
    I attended this cooking class and wet market tour with Thao - and she was absolutely awesome! So knowledgeable and professional, combining her cooking skillset with her knowledge of Vietnamese cuisine passed on by her mother and grandmother. Thao is patient with an excellent eye for detail and is extremely generous with her time, advice and tips when it comes to Vietnamese cooking. A thoroughly enjoyable experience!

    Chef is very passionatw. The foood that we cook is very nutritious and healthy. Also good way to learn how to cook for yourself. Chef also sends recipes

    Delightful Vietnamese cooking adventure
    Both the farm tour explaining the various plants, spices and vegetables was super informative and delivered in a easy way to remember. Also discovered things I didn’t know about certain cooking techniques, and I have extensive cooking experience!

    Phenomenal
    This was an amazing experience! We arranged this experience outside of our cruise ship due to most excursions being full and we hit the jackpot! Our day started with a slightly delayed arrival and the hostess was super communicative and graciously allowed us to show one hour late with zero fuss or impact to our experience! Upon arrival the hostess was waiting for us at the meeting place and showed us around the market and even assisted with purchases. After the market we went to a very intimate venue and the hostess and her brother walked us step by step thru the preparation of an amazing three courses. The amount of time, instruction, patience and hands on was great. Hee English was excellent. The food was delicious and we left with gifts, a small cookbook and graduation certificates. Can’t say enough how happy we were to have this unique experience.
    For your time in Vietnam make sure you download the grab app for taxi’s to and from the market area as some of the cruise ports are quite a drive away, but we’ll worth it!

    Authentic Saigon Experience
    Learned cooking techniques beyond the basics. One of the highlights of our trip! We ate what we prepared and it was so so yummy!!! Thank you to the Chef and her family for showing us a GREAT time

    Definitely absolutely
    We had so much fun with our guide Julie. All four bars were well chosen, very classy - these were places we would love to hang out if we were local residents (not touristy), and all cocktails were tasty. The tour operator obviously made arrangements with the bar so we were there relatively early (tour started 5pm) and before the peak hours so it was a bit quiet. We enjoyed the chilled vibe without the crowd when the bartenders were relaxed, attentive and had time for a bit of chat.

    The tour was so enjoyable, largely thanks to our wonderful guide Julie. She is warm and engaging, and made our evening memorable.

    Tasty, interesting and freindly experience with supercookwoman Aura
    We didnthe cooking class with Aura. She is well educated and knows a lot of the plants and the gardening. Even for medical treatments she is an expert.
    The cooking class is excellent planed and she works step by step with us.
    Her english is clear an fluently.
    We cook four menus.
    Shrimp-rolles
    Stired caramelized chicken
    Papaya salad with pork
    Banana rolles.

    After the class we got our exames and the receipts for the meals we cooked.

    For extra of 10 dollars we bought the 100 receipt book of the chef of the cooking school.

    As well we were picked up and brought back to our hotel by a save driving sympatic young man.

    Absoluty recommendation :)

    Wonderful day
    We enjoyed every moment of this tour wit our wonderful guide Aura. She helped us picking vegetables and herbs in the garden doe the cooking class. She had a lot of knowledge about the different plants. Coocking class was fun! She made it al seem very easy and we were very happy with the results!
    After lunch we went to the tunnels and Aura told us a lot about the tunnelcomplex and the way people lived in the tunnels.
    It was a day to remember!

    Great cookng class in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City
    I really enjoyed this cooking class. I really loved learning how to use local cooking tools such as the Vietnamese vegetable peeler and the unique ingredients in Vietnamese food. This class is held in a restaurant right across the street from the Park Hyatt and Opera house so I loved the 1 minute stroll across the street from our hotel to attend. The teacher gave great instruction and the food was delicious. I am not sure if I can source all of the ingredients in the U.S. but it was a fun and educational class. The teacher inserted humor alongside her very clear instructions.

    An unforgettable journey coffee experience
    The course was well taught and I learned a lot earlier. I learned three different types of coffee at this venue. The coffee I learned can be returned home to learn by myself and experience the local coffee life culture. Thank you for Tram Anh, 謝謝你們。

    Egg Coffee Workshop with Tram
    Really great session with Tram, she was super cute and excellent at explaining! Lacaph is also a really nice coffee shop, so worth the visit if you’re into coffee. Workshop was definitely worth the try, learnt about egg coffee and got to taste a few cups too! Really good value and highly recommend Tram <3

    Warm family, good food, amazing time
    Vi and her family were lovely to speak with and learn from… the rooftop garden also has amazing views! Vi is an excellent cook that also took care to teach us all the tips and tricks of cooking amazing Vietnamese dishes with ease, which we appreciated. Being a self-professed foodie, she was happy to share many local food recommendations with us.

    We were so full and happy at the end of the night - a must try experience in Saigon if you want to understand more about local life and culture, and make a new friend!
