The best part of this tour is hands down, Anna, our effervescent tour guide. In fact, she was just so good, that a couple sitting 2 tables down (at one of the food places) overheard her explaining each dish to us... and approached her to understand more about the food tour and where they too, could get the same experience! :)
Engaging, genuine and down-to-earth, she was not only able to explain each dish very well, and supported us throughout in terms of ordering, paying, making sure that we ate properly - while interspersing fun facts and trivia about what it's like to live in HCMC. Felt like we made a (good) friend who offered to show us the best local foodie parts of the city. She kept it real. What a great way to spend a Friday evening!

- grace a8 contributionsThis is one of the best experiences I have ever had travelling the world. Spending the evening with Destiny & Tania felt like riding bikes with friends not being on a paid tour.
They were so knowledgeable, funny and helpful. We absolutely loved going through all districts of Saigon, sharing stories and laughing whilst trying the local food.
They taught us helpful phrases and we tried so many different things.
I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Saigon.
Make sure you don’t eat before and leave room and energy for a wonderful evening!

He made this tour feel like a true Vietnamese local experience, not a typical tourist cookie cutter one. Also, his outgoing attitude made this tour feel like I was hanging out with a local. The bike ride felt extremely safe (and was so fun!). All the food spots were absolutely delicious. I tasted some dish that I had in my childhood from my mother. It brought back a lot of memories. Victor brought me to the less touristy districts and explained a bit of background in each place. It was such a fun experience. Their friendly demeanor and extensive knowledge of the city's hidden gems and local cuisine were truly impressive. We felt safe and well taken care of on their bikes as they expertly navigated the bustling streets. The food stops were delicious and offered a true taste of Saigon that we would never have found on our own. Mike was always able to explain exactly what it was and what ingredients were used. It was a very entertaining walk, it never got boring. - Anna D2 contributionsWe did the vegan food tour and it was absolutely amazing! When we did the tour, it was only me and my husband and they were willing to take any food requests! (However, we didn't make any food requests because we wanted their recommendations). We each had one assigned rider and they took us to multiple locations throughout the city. Each location was specific and clearly had a lot of thought put in. They valued showing you the best version that was available, and that meant riding to those places. Each place was amazing and authentic, and we never would have gone without their guidance. Our guides, Robert and Grace, were funny, considerate, and sweet. Also had a couple cultural stops to better know Vietnam, like at the oldest apartment complex and Buddhist statue with mini history lessons included. They drove safely on the road and it was a blast riding on the motorbike! Seeing HCMC from that viewpoint is absolutely key to understanding the city. Right from the beginning of the tour Ân was so accomodating and friendly. We chatted like friends and yet he was so informative. The locations we visited were of high quality and gave me a true insight in to the food culture here. I thought I’d experienced the local cuisine on my own but doing this tour I realised I hadn’t even scratched the surface. When asked which was my favourite meal it was so hard to answer, they were all so great in their own way.
Ân shared the city lights with me to top off the night and got me back to my hotel safely.
10/10 recommend this tour and this company to anyone wanting to do a local food tour.
