This network of tunnels, built by the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War, is a must-see for anyone looking for an adventurous day out.
The tunnels were impressively well-built, with living quarters, kitchens, and even hospitals. It was incredible to see how the Viet Cong were able to survive underground for so long. I was also amazed by the ingenuity of the traps they had set up to protect themselves from the enemy.
The tour guides were knowledgeable and friendly, and they gave us a great insight into the history of the tunnels. We even had the chance to crawl through a few of the tunnels ourselves!

short visit will do but must go. the architecture is great and it's a working post office meaning people still go there to write letters and counters are all working

We got tickets to the sky deck on a Friday evening. It wasn't very busy, and there's an elevator ride that takes you straight to the top. It's an indoor viewing deck, and the upper deck was closed for repair/construction. Great views all around the city including the river and you can see some of the landmarks.

We did a walk and also observed this street from the roof of an open topped bus and it seems that no matter what night of the week, this street is alive with young people socialising and escaping the heat. There were competing sounds from various singers and djs and lots of hawkers selling balloons and glow products but the weirdest sight was a snake on the ground not far from a beautifully groomed cat on a harness. We stumbled upon a section where everyone displays their pampered pets. It’s loud and vibrant and worth a walk at night.

This is Ho Chi Minh City's partying capital. A stroll along Bui Vien at night best captures its energy and sinful atmosphere. More like Pattaya than any other Vietnamese cities, this walking street is full of bars, clubs and restaurants for tourists. While it is not the ideal place to enjoy food, getting a pint here is an interesting experience.

Found this gem from local student tour called Saigon Hotpot. Need a tour guild to explain all the back ground and get the best experience.

Nice vegetarian options. We had fried rice and a beautiful silken tofu stir fry. They were doing some renovations which was noisy. The music was too loud to have a conversation. Nice vibe.

A real variety here with super clean an up market stores to broken pavers on the footpath and rubbish, the drastic changes are what makes it so fascinating. So much to see and you have to stop and watch to fully appreciate, find a coffee store at take a moment.

We thought it was a Buddhist shrine but apparently it is a mixture of Chinese and Vietnamese beliefs. It is in a funny little side street and you are required to wear masks which are provided free of charge. The building and contents are a slightly bizarre mixture of ancient and modern with fabulous carvings alongside air conditioning units. Never be allowed by the National Trust. Well worth a visit.

We were part of a tour group, which took us to one of the vendors for food. It was great to try a different style of pho in Chinatown. The stalls have many many things to buy both food and wares.

Beautiful architecture and lit up at night is just stunning. A nice calm place with a lovely fountain nearby and Uncle Ho's statute with manicured garden area. Very clean. Shame you cant go inside. Nice to go when they close the traffic off and you can really enjoy this space. Lots of local families walking around here.
