- GarfieldluvrDenver, CO880 contributionsThis is a beautiful monument, and not far from the War Remnants Museum (right now the location on TripAdvisor is wrong). Striking story and a photo that you have likely seen before of the monk committing suicide in protest of the war via self-immolation. Worth a stop.Written 7 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

Good photo op on a very pleasant park. Not at all crowded if you visit in the evening.Written 9 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It’s a great place to spend 1-2 hours if you are interested in Buddhism or looking to capture some amazing photos.
I hired a scooter round trip for about 300,000 dong and the ride there was amazing in itself!
It would be very hard to find a way back without prearrangement.

It was a sunny and warm day and we came by here for a photostop. We saw workers watering the beautiful plants and flowers at the park, clearing the weeds. It looked nice from a closer distance.
However, there was no shelter/washroom here. And just opposite the busy road is the waterbus (cruise) station. And traffic here were peak all day round and you do need some "courage" to be able to cross the roads. Although there were traffic lights, no one seemed to bother about it and so it's of no use at all!
Will not recommend this place for a visit that you must definitely come unless you happen to pass by here (or like us, staying very nearby), you can skip it with no loss to your trip to HCMC!Written 26 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
