What travellers are saying
- SecretKentRye, UK110 contributionsLovely open space for much needed respite from the busy roads of the city. Lots of locals and groups of schoolchildren spending time together.Written 26 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - VX XWalnut Creek, CA11 contributionsIf you are looking for some wild experience with animals and jungle views, this is the place. But due to limited exposure to tourists, the road is quite rough, monkey can steal your stuffs. It is a little bit scary when the rain was heavy and basically we are the only tourists in the park thinking about the crocodile we just met…..Written 4 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - BrakiWorldTravelerBelgrade, Serbia19,438 contributionsSaigon riverfront looks pretty ordinary and not that inviting during the day.
However, it totally changes at night with all the high rises along it illuminated.
You can take a water taxi or river cruise to enjoy the views from the river.
The first is cheaper, but transporting you only from one point to another.
We opted for the river cruise going upstream and downstream for around 45 min in total. Views of downtown are really impressive, while the other side looks undeveloped.Written 28 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I was on my own and got swayed into a plain taxi ..." do not make the same mistake I made as they just want to count your money on the way out of the airport and rip you off , very annoying .Written 13 July 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - JackieSingapore9 contributionsI biked to this spot in a very nice day. The renting was smooth. This spot had a view looking to Han River. Quite amazing. Recommend for a stroll or bike.Written 3 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- SamBrisbane, Australia41 contributionsNever really been a fan on visiting zoos but I felt like stretching my legs and the entry fee was almost free!
This zoo/botanic garden is massive and has many attractions. (Elephants, lions, bears, monkeys, chimps, game animals & giraffes plus more).
There is a theme park inside the zoo which has several rides that you can use for an additional fee. (Bumper car, ferris wheel & a few others.
The animals do look depressed (more than usual at a zoo) lonely and unwell with no interest in anybody wanting to take a decent picture.
Around most enclosures all you can smell is urine and faecal matter as the enclosure is made mostly concrete and old iron bars.
There is a little hut that has a Vietnam War theme of soldier figurines sitting and having a meal in US & Vietnamese military attire.
You can feed and touch the game animals (antelopes/deer) some vegetables for an additional fee for a close encounter.
I do recommend having a look but it is a bit underwhelming and disheartening to see the state of it, but optimistic it will get better over time.Written 24 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Later a local shared that it was a kids story that the turtle lived there

It's a very chilled space and attracts lots of locals just taking time out during their day. Many people also come here to just play the guitar or walk to exercise. A really nice space.Written 27 March 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- FayeInAmsterdamAmsterdam, The Netherlands1,351 contributionsWhat I like about HCM is that this is a green city. Lots of small parks just to stroll around without all the traffic. What is not very nice is all the plastic on some grounds. Pls keep it clean.Written 1 November 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SleemanUnited States4 contributionsThis unassuming spa delivered exactly what we needed: a high-quality foot reflexology session. The therapists were incredibly skilled, immediately identifying our pressure points and working their magic to alleviate tension. We both agreed it was one of the best foot massages we've ever had, leaving us feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. - steve_vstheworldHafnarfjordur, Iceland391 contributionsSurrounded on all sides by the busy and stressful roads that make up the city centre, this is a nice and decently sized park but not exactly what you’d call tranquil. Worth a visit if you need a break and a sit down.Written 25 March 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- JillMelbourne, Australia3 contributionsWell lovley gardens vegetation but (hot) I have never been so close up to zoo animals that amazed me.i seen a turtle with a problem with the caring keepers and the treatment impressive. - LeonhknyHong Kong, China21,176 contributionsThis is a new residential development project at Ho Chi Minh City's emerging suburb. Vinhomes Central Park is full of high-rises, mansions and international brands. There is a compact shopping mall to escape from urban bust. Quite interesting to glimpse the lifestyle of middle-class Viets. A viewing deck is also available but price can be a hindrance.Written 6 December 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
