Took these buses 3 times: Nha Trang — Da Lat — Nha Trang and Nha Trang — Ho Chi Minh. Buses were quite comfortable, can lay on the seats and fit your legs in the baggage section. They provide blanket, water and wet wipes. Tho dirty windows and staff is very careless with luggage. Also all 3 times bus crew behaved very angry with foreigners that was quite strange for Vietnamese people. Stuff didn’t speak English at all and got mad when I tried to use translator. Also one time they didn’t pick me up from the hotel — minibus driver was waiting only 5 min on the unknown road so I couldn’t find him at once. After he just left and I had to take taxi which price was half of the 10 hours bus trip price as the station in Nha Trang located far from the centre. I liked the buses but unfortunately i can’t recommend the service itself.

Arriving at Ho Chi Minh City airport in rush hour can be a little overwhelming so it was a relief to be met by a driver from Saigon Transporter and handed a bottle of chilled water. Drive to central Ho Chi Minh City was smooth and uneventful and invoice was sent direct to my email - I recommend this excellent company. Very easy to pre-book the transfer online from Australia via their live chat page (available in English). You can book it and pay for it on arrival. I booked mine the night before I arrived and they were safely there waiting for me. A taxi will cost you between $7-$10 USD - this will cost $15 so a bit more than a taxi but if you want someone waiting for you and don't want to try to deal with the taxis then this is a reliable and comfortable service.

I had booked this car with Mr Alex who was fast and affirmative in responding to my queries.
Booked the car for 6 hours with airport pickup to Cu Chi tunnels and then Back to City center hotel drop off. Paid 1300,000 dongs at the airport before we started the journey.
Any additional hour would have costed 80,000 dongs as per arrangements.

The driver was good with steady hands and we had a enjoyable trip.

Read bad reviews on this company, despite their good 12goasia score. This seemed the better option for us to do Ho Chi Minh to Phnom Penh, so we went for it. We started the trip in a non sleeper (but confortable) bus, and half an hour later changed to a sleeper bus. It was reasonably clean and confortable (although if you are tall it may not be as confortable as you won't fit completely laying down). The staff spoke basic english, enough to give us the information. They ask for your passport and visa, and give it back when all the process in the border is complete. We made a few bathroom and snacks breaks, and arrived at the estimated time.

Phuong Trang has only one kind of bus from Saigon to Dalat. Most of its buses are new,
each has three rows of very small beds and has two levels, approx 33 seat-beds in total, all of them are small like the seat of a Formula 1.
You can't sit because of the very low ceiling, but you can't lie straight because it's too short.
During the trip from SG to Dalat I felt like I was in a prison cell. The bus had no seatbelts and I was on the top level, felt very unsafe, easy to fall out.
The bus' driver and the assistant were nice but the bus has a terrible structure.
I'll never travel again with Phuong Trang.
Thanh Buoi is another transport company and not much better, but you have more choices with them.
