The owners were such a pleasure to work with. Their store is well organized and filled with so many unique treasures. They made my dreams come true today when I found a widows mite pendant in silver which was what I fell in love with at a different store earlier that day. They gave me an affordable and fair price. Both gentle men were a pleasure to work with. Both are photoed here with my husband. Thanks guys!

Zaks store is one of the best Antiques stores in Jerusalem. Zak who runs the store is supper nice, he is an honest and profesional dealer. In April 2024, when visiting Jerusalem, I have purchased few items at his store from the First and Second Temple periods. All genuine and sertified. Great stuff! The prices were very reasonable.
I am a very happy customer.

Best jewelry shop on or near Ben Yehuda Street. A wide variety of beautiful pieces at reasonable prices. Yoram was very helpful without the hard-sell. His English is perfect. Definitely will return.

I had the best experience at Devorah Cosmetics. I’m a lone bat sherut and Devorah welcomed my friends and me in. She gave us facials and makeovers and we had a great time!! Would definitely recommend!

Mosses runs the shop and is very good to deal with. His jewelry was the best we found in the old city and his prices were very fair. We purchased 2 necklaces and they were less then what some of our friends spent at the tour stops in Bethlehem.

This place is truly a gift. As others have said, not only is Udi and incredible artist, but also just an incredible man. Every piece he sells receives personal attention, as he takes time to tell you about the piece and get to know you. We are so grateful to have stumbled across his shop.

This store is one of our favourites that we visited in Old City, Jerusalem! I bought a much treasured necklace and bracelet there. There was a wonderful selection of beautiful jewelry and olive wood carvings and the prices were very reasonable. George and his staff were very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended!

My young son was traveling in Israel and was looking for a treasure for his mother on his last day in Jerusalem. He had to look no further than Alit, right off of Ben Yehuda Street. The person in the shop helped him with his selection and made his purchase a smooth one. He left there with a beautiful pair of earrings at a fair price. There is a beautiful selection of finely crafted reasonably priced jewelry at Alit that will make any woman happy.

Ezra Zaifani, whom I have known since the 1980s, and call ‘Ezra HaSofer’
(“Ezra the Scribe”, after a genuine historical late Biblical figure), is a really
    Great scribe.
In other words, he writes Hebrew Religious texts on parchment, like Torah
Scrolls, mezuzot (the rolled up Hebrew text that is supposed to be inside the
little boxes you will see on the doorposts of Jewish homes), scrolls of Esther,
    Etc.
He is dedicated to producing fine quality religious material, and, as is mandated,
Does not try to charge too much profit.
I know a few Scribes like Ezra.
    Well recommended.
