We (parents and two kids) visited Uri's shop on June 9, 2022 and had a wonderful experience. Uri was very helpful, gave us his full attention, and we were able to bring home beautiful mezuza covers. The woodworking was a lot of fun.

This wonderful shop and workshop is located on a quiet side street near the Underground Prisoner’s museum and Russian Compound. You can find unique, handmade scarves, note cards, Yahrzeit candle holders, tsedakah boxes and more here.

When you buy gifts here to take home, you know that you are supporting good people and a good cause with a something made in Jerusalem. The staff are helpful and their shop is air conditioned.

So I have spent my life wanting to learn Hebrew and its a tough language . I found Ulpan Or a year ago and its amazing. I have progressed and look forward to the studies. Their unique mix of videos, teachers and online studies works really well. I can now actually talk to my Isaeli friends and cant wait to return to Israel to practice in real time.Everyone at Ulpan is professional, friendly and very very helpful. My teacher Tal is the most amazing and she has been with me through this journey. If you are considering learning Hebrew, use Ulpan Or!!

Tali and her staff are great. We had a tour of the market with chef Josef. He was extremely knowledgeable, warm , friendly and a great chef.
Local food and produce from the market was purchased and then prepared by us and Tali’s chefs. Food was delicious, wines were Israeli and very well received. I recommend this event for families and foodies.

The Spirit of Christmas is alive in The Old City! Thanks to The Jerusalem Santa for making our visit extra special and for making me feel like a kid at heart again. We cannot wait to return!

Enticed by a hand built small building filled with homemade jams for sale, the homeowner beckoned us into the courtyard and asked if we wanted a tour. The multilevel home features a stunning view from the roof deck, a basement mosaic floor and other treasures. The tour is 15NIS per adult, children are free and is gratis with jam purchase.

Kevin was a-ma-zing! We did the machneh Yehuda (shuk) workshop. The time flew by, and it was a really unique way to see the city. He’s clearly super professional and a amazing teacher.
So glad I found this workshop!
    Thanks a million!
    Highly recommended
