Ryan gave very descriptive information on all the sites we visit, non stop talking for the whole 10 hours. The next couple days of our cruise we went with the cruise excursion, nothing can compare with the Guided Tour Isreal. Easy to understand and added personal experiences of his to our journey. Had coffee in a little sidewalk cafe where the owner told tales of his many years there. We went during Passover week with my family and friends and we hired Nissim for a 3 hour tour that turned into 4 hours because you can see his enthusiasm and love for his city. He went into detail and accuracy in his tour that kept everyone engaged for the time. He allowed all questions and took the time to answer them and we never felt rushed. He went out of his way at the end of the tour to take us the King David tower so we could see the Dome of the work from a high point since it was closed. On our trip to Jerusalem the tour with Nissim was one of the high points because we left more educated and knowledgeable on events of the past and present. Ashdod port was cancelled due to civil unrest but company kept us up to date and rearranged tour to start from Haifa. As unrest escalated by the time we reached Haifa we had to leave port. Company automatically cancelled trip and refunded. Would definitely recommend them for their customer service. Unlike another company who we had booked Nazareth tour with, feel we are ‘blaming’ them for situation and refusing a refund. - Brianna R1 contributionThis city is breathtaking and the history that lives in every step and stone is profound: I think Etai, our guide for the day embodied all of that. He has a wealth of knowledge, a shining smile, and a passion for bringing thousands of years of stories back to life. But he wasn’t stuffy or anything, in fact he was like completely opposite of that; he was super fun, excited to share interesting and relatable stories, willing to cater to our interests, AND maintain integrity and respect for all the different cultures and religions within the city. I would not have appreciated the significance and beauty of the city nearly as much, if we hadn’t had Etai to guide us. We wondered at first if it was worth the money, and I’m delighted to say that it was beyond worth it! It’s a once in a lifetime kind of place and doing a small private tour is one hundred and fifty percent the way to go— you will miss out on some spectacular stories and sites if you don’t. Also, I don’t know if you can request your guides (we just rolled the dice and ended up with probably the best of the best) and if you can, Etai is who you want!! But what sets this company is Elias, our tour guide, who is not only very knowledgeable about the sites but also fun to be with. Never a dull moment with him as he handles more than 30 of us as a group. Rami the driver also contributes to the information. They are very organised and efficient, covering as many sites and information there is , keeping the timeline spot on.
They ensure that no one is left behind and does roll call every now and then to check the attendance. I know for some this is annoying but I appreciate this a lot. This way we also begin to know our companions in the tour and create new found friendships!
At the end of the day, veryone is dropped off to the specified location even if we came from Tel Aviv which is almost 2hrs drive back. They provided VIP taxi to end the day.

The afternoon before the tour-day we got an SMS "tour cancelled".
We called the office and the answer was: only 4 people.
Imagine what it means: a tour booked two mounts ahead and the day before you got the information, that the operator cancelled the tour.
And then, BEN HARIM credited only US$ 230.40 in stead of the paid US$ 240.00 - they deducted the cancellation fee of 4 %.
BEN HARIM cancelled the tour and we should pay 4 % cancellation fee.

- Daniel M1 contributionMinivan was packed to capacity. Guide did not have our names on list but after a call, allowed us to squeeze in van. My wife and I were separated during all travel. Won't ever book again due to the discomfort. Guide was terrific and we tipped generously $40 because without him, we never would have been able to join tour. Poor communication and over booking.
