We were getting started late since we got slowed down getting across the Jordon-Israel border and our guide was able to delay the start an hour since we were a private tour. Awesome!!
We are Christians and preferred to dig more into Christian sites instead of everything within Old Jerusalem and our guide was willing to do that. Perfect!
We got to see everything we wanted. All the Stations on Jesus' walk. Places of the crucifixion, etc.
Getting a late afternoon (at 3 pm) start helped us in that the lines were not long at all to see everything! It was hotter though, but not bad.
The only concern was being introduced to store owner friends of our tour guide to be given a hard sell to buy from their stores. We were not interested in that and really just wanted to see the sites our tour was designed to show us.

The tour was absolutely incredible. Simon explains all the history so informatively and knowledgeably. The tour was so enjoyable and the sights were stunning. Could not recommend more.

This city is breathtaking and the history that lives in every step and stone is profound: I think Etai, our guide for the day embodied all of that. He has a wealth of knowledge, a shining smile, and a passion for bringing thousands of years of stories back to life. But he wasn’t stuffy or anything, in fact he was like completely opposite of that; he was super fun, excited to share interesting and relatable stories, willing to cater to our interests, AND maintain integrity and respect for all the different cultures and religions within the city. I would not have appreciated the significance and beauty of the city nearly as much, if we hadn’t had Etai to guide us. We wondered at first if it was worth the money, and I’m delighted to say that it was beyond worth it! It’s a once in a lifetime kind of place and doing a small private tour is one hundred and fifty percent the way to go— you will miss out on some spectacular stories and sites if you don’t. Also, I don’t know if you can request your guides (we just rolled the dice and ended up with probably the best of the best) and if you can, Etai is who you want!! Can’t recommend him enough!!

I had a great tour and a fun time with Menno who is very knowledgeable of the city and its history. I particularly liked the way he linked the ancient history with what we see today. Also, I had a day on my own (with no tour guide) and Menno gave me great recommendations. I hesitated to take a private tour but I’m glad I did, it was totally worth it!

I don't say this lightly, truly the single best experience I've ever had. Uri is one of the most knowledgeable people I've ever met, whose passion is complemented by his kindness.

Journey across the rocky Judean Desert from Jerusalem. Apart from an adventure, you will see the cave where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered by a Bedouin shepherd boy. Apart from the numerous caves, there are many ancient monastic ruins dating back to the early Christian period.

The logistics of the tour is amazing!! The tour was really great and included all the main places to visit, the hotels are located strategically to have a walk at night and have dinner. What we like the most was the explanations from the guides in our language, they really have a broad knowledge of all places. We absolutely recommend the tour!!

We were group of 6 , loved the mixture of the sightseeing and the off-road . Some of the sights are really monumental like Jerusalem and Masada while on the other side of the spectrum is the Holman highs wild Wild West :-)
Loved the local street good and mostly the gokedem guide for the oversight and linking history and present of this magical land. We could have few more days to relax off the beat and enjoy tel aviv...

First and foremost, Zahi Shaked is an outstanding tour guide who truly embodies a passion for the history and culture of Jerusalem. From the moment the tour began, it was clear that he had a deep knowledge and appreciation for the city's rich and complex history. His storytelling abilities are unmatched, as he seamlessly wove together anecdotes and historical facts to bring the city's past to life.

He was patient and attentive to our group's needs, answering all of our questions with care and consideration. His enthusiasm for the subject matter was infectious, and his genuine warmth and kindness made us feel welcome and valued.

The tour itself was well-organized and well-paced, taking us to all the key sites while allowing plenty of time for exploration and reflection. His insights and commentary enriched our experience immeasurably, helping us to understand the significance and context of the places we visited.

Finally, I must commend his attentiveness and care for the group's well-being, as he found us when we got lost. Overall, I cannot recommend Zahi Shaked and Bein Harim tours highly enough. If you are looking for an exceptional tour of Jerusalem's Old City, look no further than this wonderful guide and tour company.

Myself and my friend took the Ramallah and Bethlehem day tour. Firstly, following our late booking the night before the tour which turned out to be to late, Green Olive kindly offered to organise a private tour for the following day, which they did not have to.

Anas, our guide was extremely knowledgable about the history of the Palestine and the specifics of the legal and cultural situations on the ground, it was great to hear about the Israel-Palestine situation from a Palestinian perspective.

Anas was also extremely personable, despite the tour lasting from about 08:30-15:30 (I believe this would have usually ran longer however it was Eid on the day of our tour meaning that roads were less busy) there was never a lull in conversation, Anas took us to a great shawarma spot in Bethlehem away from the touristy area, after asking us what we would like to eat, and provided us with water on a hot day.

I can’t recommend this tour enough!
