Journey across the rocky Judean Desert from Jerusalem. Apart from an adventure, you will see the cave where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered by a Bedouin shepherd boy. Apart from the numerous caves, there are many ancient monastic ruins dating back to the early Christian period.

We were getting started late since we got slowed down getting across the Jordon-Israel border and our guide was able to delay the start an hour since we were a private tour. Awesome!!
We are Christians and preferred to dig more into Christian sites instead of everything within Old Jerusalem and our guide was willing to do that. Perfect!
We got to see everything we wanted. All the Stations on Jesus' walk. Places of the crucifixion, etc.
Getting a late afternoon (at 3 pm) start helped us in that the lines were not long at all to see everything! It was hotter though, but not bad.
The only concern was being introduced to store owner friends of our tour guide to be given a hard sell to buy from their stores. We were not interested in that and really just wanted to see the sites our tour was designed to show us.

We booked half day tour of Jerusalem with Bein Harim, our guide was Itamar Buk. We had a great day seeing the important sites of Jerusalem. We learned a great deal about the history, culture and why Jerusalem is so important to the 3 main religions. Itamar was very knowledgable, with a great sense of humour, he made everyone feel comfortable and kept the group together. There is a good deal of walking involved on this tour. Sometimes it was difficult to keep up, but Itamar made sure the whole group could hear his explanations. I would highly recommend this tour.
Well done Itamar you’re doing a great job! Keep it up!

I booked this tour through the link on trip advisor. I booked it late on a Friday evening, and promptly received a text confirmation along with a meeting point very close to my hotel. There are several different hotel pick up points around the city, and all of them are funneled to a main meeting point where the various tours depart from.

Our full day walking tour was led by Sivan, who was very knowledgeable and a great tour guide. Very thoughtful and even handed in her description of life in Israel. Very knowledgeable about the old quarter. Would absolutely give her a strong recommendation as a tour guide.

Also, the price point of this tour cannot be beat.

I had a great tour and a fun time with Menno who is very knowledgeable of the city and its history. I particularly liked the way he linked the ancient history with what we see today. Also, I had a day on my own (with no tour guide) and Menno gave me great recommendations. I hesitated to take a private tour but I’m glad I did, it was totally worth it!

Myself and my friend took the Ramallah and Bethlehem day tour. Firstly, following our late booking the night before the tour which turned out to be to late, Green Olive kindly offered to organise a private tour for the following day, which they did not have to.

Anas, our guide was extremely knowledgable about the history of the Palestine and the specifics of the legal and cultural situations on the ground, it was great to hear about the Israel-Palestine situation from a Palestinian perspective.

Anas was also extremely personable, despite the tour lasting from about 08:30-15:30 (I believe this would have usually ran longer however it was Eid on the day of our tour meaning that roads were less busy) there was never a lull in conversation, Anas took us to a great shawarma spot in Bethlehem away from the touristy area, after asking us what we would like to eat, and provided us with water on a hot day.

I can’t recommend this tour enough!
