Using the old walls as screens gave it a very old biblical feel. The story shown on the walls was the history of Jerusalem and the many ravages and rebuilding over time. It was a nice evening out as part of our guided two week tour. The Khan Theater is located in an attractive Ottoman structure, which is hundreds of years old. The theatre was established in 1972. It was the first permanent repertory company in Jerusalem. The forecourt of the theatre has an al fresco coffee shop, which is a nice place to have a coffee before the show.
