What travellers are saying
- JohnHBronte, Australia61 contributionsThis is an informative tour but a right-wing Israeli overtone. If you do not notice the politics or can ignore the politics then you will have fun.
You must get your feet wet. That is the best bit.Written 26 April 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - I visited this place🇳🇱🇬🇧🇨🇭🇦🇪🇺🇸Israel14,281 contributionsPROS

"I VISITED THIS PLACE"...
.... with four boys ages 5 to 14. It was hot and sunny- we started on the surround and circle Mount Strong hike, which is on a wide jeep road but it has total sun exposure. We didn't have the time nor supplies (and the boys didn't have the interest nor resilience) to complete the loop of more than two hours, so we did enjoy our adventure, but we turned back.... full disclosure- the same thing happened two other times in the past year- failed attempts with young charges.
ADVICES
This is certainly a well-organized and well equipped and famous nature reserve. As such, it is a good holiday spot and a good place for hiking in nature, but not far from the city of Jerusalem. I certainly endorse and recommend a visit to here.Written 2 October 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I felt like I was in safe hands the entire time and loved every second.
I did this tour yesterday (11/05/23) and had to write a review while it is still fresh. I went solo and the group was about 10 total.
We were picked up in a minivan on time with Eliyah (spelling?) Who is described as the 'israeli settler' guide in the description I think.
Went to the settlement in the occupied territory where he gave a brief introduction etc. We then went through the security checkpoint which Eliyah was not permitted to cross and into the hands of Tariq (spelling?). He then showed us around giving background from his perspective before going to the museum / famous shared mosque + synagogue which has the alleged tomb of Abraham and some other significant religious figures and then lunch with a Palestinian family.
We then went back through the checkpoint and met Eliyah again where he showed us the other half of the mosque / synagogue while giving more information. We went through the Israeli settler's neighbourhood more in depth, visiting a museum, being shown memorials and a host of other significant locations.
The day was a lot to digest and gave a ton to reflect upon. I haven't stopped thinking about what each guide said since.
If I was to say one thing to future travellers it would be to go in without preconceptions and not try to push Eliyah into a corner. This is not to say do not ask difficult questions, however, I think it is important to remember that he is for 100% non violence! I only say this as one person in the group I was with seemed to think Eliyah personified the ultra right wing nationalists and seemed to be hellbent on holding Eliyah personally accountable for everything that has happened in the region for the past 80 years.
In short, if you have any interest whatsoever in Israeli foreign policy; Palestinian history; current global events; relations between religions; religion more generally; human rights or have even the tiniest bit of curiosity about what you read about in the news then I would highly highly highly recommend this tour!!Written 12 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. When I think of a tour guide, I think of someone who has a monotone voice and simply reads information off of their phone. Jeremy, on the other hand, was anything but this. He was PHENOMENAL. He was interactive, knowledgeable, and exciting! He kept us all very engaged and took the time to genuinely bond with us, creating an experience of a lifetime!!Written 27 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - elynchav2 contributionsI went with my husband and two teenagers. We are considered "ultra-orthodox" and were comfortable with the entire experience. It was challenging but not frustratingly hard. The employees were respectful, friendly, and helpful. There were some scary aspects that added to the fun. We did the "Trapped" escape room. I would recommend leaving some time beforehand for finding parking and the location of the escape room.Written 24 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jeremy S1 contributionOn behalf of our small group we are so appreciative of your time, energy and effort during our day together in Jerusalem. - Debra M1 contributionIf I could rate my experience as a 20 out of 10 with Yoav as guide, I would. I recently had the privilege of exploring all of Israel with Yoav and it was the best experience I have had! He is extremely knowledgeable, organized and fun! Not only did I see everything I expected to see, but Yoav made it extra special by sharing a few surprise experiences that only a local well experienced guide could provide. I recommend the Israel experience with only the best guide-Yoav Rotem. You will have an experience to remember for a lifetime.Written 16 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Tomer T3 contributionsJoel is by far the most charismatic, passionate, and professional guide I've ever seen. He joined us for a full week all over Israel, including TLV, Jerusalem, Golan Heights, Negev, and Masada. Not only did he share with us fascinating information, also he did it in a super interesting way through his incredible storytelling talent.

- Connector7998264 contributionsI came with a group and we had such an amazing time touring with Eli and Amichai! They gave us such a unique perspective of israel (one that I never had). Eli fine-tuned our tour to meet all needs and cultures. He and Amichai were a wealth of information and so friendly and approachable. We weren’t ready for the tour to end…and the EZ Raider-well that was just a total blast and added pleasure!!Written 11 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - scjnsnHighland, UT12 contributionsMoti navigated us well to all of the sites we wanted to see and then some. He provided ample historical background to help us understand the current political landscape as well as historical significance of many of the sites.
He was willing to put in long days to make sure we could maximize our short visit to Israel.Written 3 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - RanAvivTel Aviv, Israel179 contributionsWe hired Shuki for a company fun day. It was absolutely perfect - Shuki is a fun person, knows everything and everyone, and it felt like we were in good hands. The food trip to Jerusalem was so good that we booked it 2 more times. I don’t mind participating his food trip once a month.Written 21 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Yael Y1 contributionWe had a wonderful experience with the ATV and ziplining staff - all activities were so much fun! They accommodated us at an earlier time than usual and were super friendly and welcoming. My friend and I even got picked up from the bus stop and driven back out once we were finished. Would definitely recommend coming here with a large group for some incredible memories or even with a smaller group of friends. 10/10 overal experience!!Written 23 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
