This tour was well organised, good basic English comms beforehand, worked like clockwork, trip as described, everyone saw turtles. Recommend take your own snorkelling gear. No amenities on the island but this is as advertised.
A great day out. Highlight of our Noumea experience.

Took this service both to and from the airport- no complaints, the drivers were both polite and good drivers on some tight and twisty roads

    Very informative and interesting.
Would have been nicer to have it longer, covering lots more areas.

Highly recommend this charter! Our cruise stopped in Noumea for the day, as the ship tours were fully booked I emailed this company. So pleased we had an awesome day, dolphins, sea cow, turtles and reef sharks!! Walking knee deep in the sea with turtles swimming past. Lunch provided on request with wine, beer, soft drink & water. They couldn't have done more for us!! 👏👏

My husband, daughter and I did the tour on a cruise stopover. I booked/paid for tour from Brisbane and printed out the tickets to take with me. We got the bus from ship to ferry terminal, showed the tickets at Lyvai kiosk then walked along the water to wait under shade for the train and off we went. The lady guide was very informative and we enjoyed seeing the beaches and up into the hills for some fabulous views of the islands and out to sea. We made several stops to take photos then went through the city centre and back to the pick up point. The cost is less than half of the ship-organised tours, we paid roughly A$130 for 3 of us and the equivalent tour from the ship was close to A$300 (US$59pp). The ship tour is the yellow tchou tchou train which basically does the same route around Noumea. You are able to book tours at the ferry terminal but we booked at Lyvai.com online no problem. I would highly recommend this tour as a good introduction (2 hours) to Noumea and surrounds.

Buses started from the cruise terminal & followed the coastal roads along the beaches which had lots of spots to try out the blue, blue water. Two cruise ships were in town so thousands of tourists but the buses handled the crowds.
All the bus stops were at key places but some were disappointed when the Aquarium was closed on Mondays.
My onlly critique was that I wanted to visit Chateau Royale where I worked on a convention in 1975 but the bus turned back well short of that hotel. As I have a mobility handicap it was too hard to walk the rest of the way.

My husband and I visited Noumea whilst on a cruise, we had actually pre-booked one of the electric mini-mokes for a day (8 hours) before we even left - we found him setting up in the carpark where you arrive (in Noumea, if you arrive at the working port they put you on shuttle buses to the other port, which has the visitor's centre - that's where the carpark is that he, and everyone else, sets up in)....he gave us some good tips on where to go, and pointed out we had to stay on the peninsula as you are not allowed to go onto the highway in these, but there is enough to see on the peninsula so that wasn't a problem. There is nowhere to lock your valuables which was the only thing we would have loved to have changed, but other than that, this was an absolutely awesome way to spend a day! So much more fun than a bus & much more flexible! Highly recommend it. It cost us roughly AUD$300 for 8 hours but we didn't have any regrets. It had plenty of battery and we had no problems at all with the car, just lots of fun! I was glad it had a roof on it as well as I had been worried about sunburn. Yay!

I booked this for a day in port from a cruise ship. It was excellent value compared to booking a tour through the cruise company. Online booking was easy, and their office is at the terminal or where the shuttle buses drop you if on a large cruise ship. Show your electronic receipt and you are given your ticket.

Richard is a fantastic guide and we appreciated the history and information he imparted. I saw a show many years ago on the wonderful architecture of this complex, and since have always wanted to see it. We only did a walk through of the building, but it was obvious you could spend a few hours here if you had the time.

It was good to see some of the countryside, and you come back along the bays and stop at the lookout which is like a tour in itself.

After finally getting to the island after the water taxi we had pre-booked and paid for turned us away for no apparent reason we arrived eager for our snorkeling adventure. There were deck chairs everywhere and we set up and put the umbrellas up as it was very sunny and hot. It was then that someone finally spoke to us only to tell us to take them down and move elsewhere as they were hire only. We moved inland a bit and set up at a table to be kicked out as it was for restaurant guests only. We made our way back to the tiny part of the beach with no shade ( the only part we were permitted without paying excessive fees in their currency which we weren’t carrying as we thought we had pre-paid everything) ready to finally snorkel. There was no sand on the beach which wasn’t covered in coral and was quite harsh on your feet so I recommend reef shoes. As a family we got our gear on and made our way into the water into immediate coral reefs only to be abused by a lady in French for entering the wrong section as we were supposed to enter via the blue mat 50m further along the beach. Once doing this we snorkeled seeing plenty of sea life and coral. What should have been an awesome experience became average at best by a lack of hospitality.

I booked a shuttle to pick us up from our accommodation in Mont Dore and deliver us to La Tontouta International Airport. The shuttle driver arrived promptly on time to pick us up. The bags were put in the van and we all travelled comfortably in a modern clean shuttle. There was no stress as everything ran smoothly. Thank you for a great service by the driver and company.
