The show itself is extraordinarily good. One of the most impressive performances of its kind that I’ve ever seen - it was varied and interesting and technically impressive from start to finish.
Two issues stopping me from rating it 5 stars:
(1) I booked on the official website for three show, and Gmail tried to stop me clicking on the link to open the tickets, saying the website was known to have previously hosted identity theft malware. I asked about it at the ticket counter and they essentially said just click on it and all will be fine. Not wanting to cause a fuss I did so, but this is absolutely terrible advice.
(2) if it rains, you will get drenched. Considering heavy rain is a predictable part of Singapore’s weather cycle, the venue has totally inadequate defences against it. They offer to sell you a plastic poncho for $3 but the queue to buy one was 100 people long, and they won’t let you use an umbrella for obvious reasons as you’d block the view of those behind you. I wouldn’t have even minded any of this so much if there was any obvious reason why the seating couldn’t have had a roof above it, but there wasn’t.
