A well laid out site explaining the history of the area, the war in the far east and the British surrender, and finally the liberation and independance of Singapore. Worth visiting.

    Clean beach, lots of bars
Nice place to watch the sun set
Good stop off if you’ve been to universal and want to go for tea / drinks afterwards

The beach is clean and peaceful with lifeguards looking over so you feel safe.

It is a very nice and relaxing place to hang out and gather with friends and family.

There are sufficient toilets and bathing facilities and you go there to swim, sun bath, picnic or play volley ball.

The sand is soft and nice but it would be good to bring along a picnic mat.

There are some restaurants along the beach for you to dine or pubs for drinks.

The sunset here is something you wouldn’t want to miss so plan your day accordingly.

Lots of good information posted along this partially covered, elevated walkway. Great place for photos in all directions from the harbour to the city.

It’s a nice walk, good pictures taken and lovely view, if clear enough you can see indonesia.
Not a fan of zip lines but lots of people were doing it. I finished it of with a drink on a close beach club

It is probably the best beach ever. The view is wonderful with coconut trees and white sand. The ambience is calm.

It is easily accessible by walking across a small narrow bridge from the beaches. The ambience is calm and clean. The view is stunning!

We are regular visitors to Singapore (also having lived and worked there for several years) and are always looking for something new to do each time we visit, so this was a first time visit for us.
The excellent use of audio visual aids and some hands on activities, makes for a very interesting and engaging time at this museum.
For me the highlight was the simulation of being on an ancient trading vessel which is caught in a storm. I didn't realise it at first but the floor actually drops as we sink to the bottom of the ocean while our boat is destroyed. Unfortunately the simulation only goes for about 10 mins and then all the fun is over. I think there is potential to extend the program even further to make it even more enjoyable.
I thought the entry fees were very reasonable. $15 adults, $10 seniors, not sure for children. If you want to experience the simulation, it is an extra $3 (well worth it).
The museum is next door to the aquarium which is a must see.

Just an update for anyone reading old reviews indicating this is a free service. That seems to have finished around April/May this year and the cost is $4 on departure from Vivo City, with no charge on the return leg.

Good show of fireworks + water which you should not miss. We clubbed it with the USS on the same day so arrived well before time for the show at 7:45pm (USS closes at 5pm)
There is another show at 8:45 pm but its late if you have started your day early for USS.
    Its an open area amphitheater,
Only tip would be to avoid sitting on the initial rows as some of the close fireworks may be bit daunting for kids.
We booked tickets just 1 day prior, there are 2000 seats per show so its not a problem.
Highly recommended to club with Sentosa day to save time.

The buses come every 15 minutes and have approx 25 seats with plenty of standing room and extra room to place bags or other bulky items. The buses are A, B or C and you can change at the bus hub to go in any direction around the island. We only used it once in our 3 days staying on the island but I would recommend.

The Festive Walk is nothing special. It is just a short covered pathway with greenery, water feature and posh restaurant. The Thinker statue stands out among the rest.

The attraction is very nice but the sound / voice is not that clear and the show started near midnight, it is too late for watching this show.
