Singapore Sling in Raffles Hotel. $39 and as many peanuts you can eat and throw on the floor. Absolutely magnificent hotel and room. The prices are on a higher side but since there are very few options for clubbing in Clark Quay, it can be absorbed. - Sunil R29 contributionsI held a company event here and the service and experience was amazing. They have a Guinness book of world record whisky museum (both the top valued collection and the top valued bottle of whisky in the world) which is breathtaking! The place is posh and stunning but most importantly, it’s the people that made this entire experience memorable.
Laura and Cally were extremely helpful. They went out of the way to help us during/before the event, even dealing with last minute requests. They and their staff were extremely kind and generous and our guests had a great time! John Bosco, who is the Whisky Ambassador, was also great and kept our audience glued with his knowledge and wit during the tasting session.
All in all, a great experience! One definitely worth recommending to any whisky aficiandos or even to anyone who wishes to start somewhere on their whisky journey!

I would expect that not all of these "future-forward creations" would be my cup of tea, but from the brief read I had of their menu, I'm mostly curious to try.

The menu is beautifully designed & a good read - admittedly, I didn't get to read through everything thoroughly that night. Will do so the next time I'm back 😉
Truth be told, I've never had a nibble here until this tasting 🤭 I had high expectations, because it's Shangri-La after all.. & I've also enjoyed the food at Origin Grill multiple times + have brought friends & family there to feast together.
Their "Bar Bites" menu is served from 5:30 - 11PM, & here are some of the favourites I had from the 𝙻𝙰𝚁𝙶𝙴 section:

An explosion of refreshing flavours in my mouth - smokey, umami, & zesty. I love the contrast of the crispy light cracker with the freshness of the prawn.

I was there two nights ago & the band & music being played was definitely a highlight. Drinks were expensive $18 for a beer still that's a small price to pay to be in this kind of environment what with the music,atmosphere & dare I say it the many beautiful ladies not that I would exactly call them ladies still I don't think I need to paint a picture. They actually made really good company & would show you a little love & affection for the price of a drink though would soon lose interest in men there if this encounter didn't go beyond a chat. I can see why they are allowed into the club because they are often brought drinks so good for business. The vibe was chill, music was not too loud so my friend and I can have great conversations. Not overcrowded. The seats are comfy. It was cool and breezy. Not hot and sticky at all.
