Previously visited in 2012 and much enjoyed the freedom to browse perfume oils, select from the wide variety and have them blended into my own "designer" fragrance.

I returned in November 2019 in the hope of repeating the experience, only to find that staff and attitudes have changed significantly. The opportunity to blend perfume oils is no longer offered and customer service in the branch of the store close to the mosque is abysmal. The two female staff on duty when I visited were singularly unhelpful and I left without purchasing.

Aware that there are a few other branches of this same store, I moved on to the Jamal Kazura shop on the corner of Bussorah St, at No. 21. The gentleman assistant here was much more forthcoming, helpful, and flexible on price when buying a larger quantity.

Unfortunately the opportunity to blend oils has apparently been stopped throughout the chain, but if you've purchased before and know what you wish to buy, you can simply purchase the oils in separate bottles and mix as you apply to the skin.

I was happy not to have given up after the unpleasant experience visiting the first store, and am delighted to have restocked with supplies of perfume oils whose fragrance in wear long outlasts all other customarily available conventional perfumes.

Whilst prices at first sight are not cheap, a little of the perfume oil goes a long way thus the oils represent good value for money.

Brilliant experience and well worth the effort.

Firstly you have to find the place. It is located at 19 Bukit Pasoh, Second Floor, 089833. ( Second floor, go through the white door beside Simplicity by Tin Box ). And it is up the stairs and a plain white door. I can understand how one reviewer couldn’t find it.

Secondly you have to be trusting enough so that Tim or one of the other great staff will prepare you a drink that meet your expectations. Let the experts do their work - you won’t be disappointed. (And there is a fixed price of S$25 per drink
So you will be ok on that front.

Lastly, on arrival, food was being prepared for the team …. Happily shared with the guests.

Knowledgeable, authentic, friendly. You will not be disappointed.

An excellent way to spend a few hours. Simon our guide was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and fun to be with. We sampled many local dishes and enjoyed the whole experience. Good to have done!

Charlotte was so awesome! The tour was exactly what we wanted. Neighborhoods you probably don’t see on a business trip. Food selections you don’t get in the hotels. Lots of cultural and history info about Singapore, too. Highly recommended!

The bike tour was amazing! Had great fun! Despite living in neighbouring Malaysia, I do not know much about Singapore's culture. However, from this tour, I learnt much more about Singapore's culture and heritage from the very friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. The scenery was awesome and I managed to take beautiful photos of the various landmarks and attractions. Service was excellent, had a memorable experience and would strongly recommend this tour to any tourist visiting Singapore!

My family and I had such a great time with Elaine at Cook Up A Storm. My kids were entertained and learnt hands on how to flip roti, and the cooked and ate them as well! Elaine is funny and full of knowledge and stories. We even got a little tour of the hidden gems in Little India like the shop that still have the old style pulley casher system and the shop owner even gave my husband a lessin on his abacus. Nested in Little India, there’s lots if cultural heritage sightseeing and food to tickle all your sensories and highly recommend a cooking lesson here!
