I would have liked less time at the food market and more time at other places.

The guide was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.

Probably the best guided tour we’ve ever experienced!
Gerry was amazing and was interested in all members of our group of seven.
He gave us a detailed insight into Singapore culture, and was happy to talk about any aspect of his city. He is passionate about supporting the communities that we visited.
He looked after us so well, and organised transport, even dispatching us to an onward final destination of our choice, by taxi.
Oh! And the food …… delicious and amazing!
    Thank you so much Gerry!

Fantastic tour! It always you to hit all the main highlights, see everything illuminated by night, and experience the different shows - water/light show, lighting of trees. Great way to experience everything in an evening if you don’t have more free time. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and share a lot of history of the country.

This tour was one of my favorite tours and a highlight of my trip to Singapore - highly recommend the tour with Pam as your tour guide! It was a great way to see the different cultural influences in Singapore and try a wide variety of dishes while getting some exercise.

    Communication:
    - Clear instructions were provided on the meeting location along with an introduction to our guide.
    - After the tour concluded, we received a follow up email from Pam with a recap of our tour, photos taken, the dishes we ate, locations visited, and a few of her favorite restaurants around the city.

    Tour:
    - Our group had a total of 7 people, which was the perfect size. At the beginning of the tour, Pam asked everyone to share a bit about themselves (name, where they're from, any allergies, and what dish they hope to try while in Singapore). I appreciated that approach as I look forward to meeting new people as a solo traveler and not all tours take the time to get to know everyone.
    - The tour was primarily centered around the Katong and Kampong Glam areas. This included a stop to view the Peranakan houses, Sultan Mosque and Haji Lane.

    Tips:
    - Wear comfortable shoes
    - Bring a poncho in case it rains
    - Bring water or you can buy water while on the tour
    - Tips for your guide are not included, but appreciated
    - If the tour is fully booked, I recommend contacting the company to check on any last minute changes to availability. I emailed two companies and both were able to accommodate my last minute request.

I would definitely recommend this tour and will go on the same tour again next time I'm in Singapore.

The service is very much like all Hop on/off services offer in large cities. The service in Singapore offers the red line (oriented towards exploring the ethnics areas of Singapore: china town, etc) and the yellow line that covers a much larger are of the city, including orchard rd. some of the nicer and more modern neighborhoods of Singapore, the Marina Bay Sands, etc. It is worthwhile doing both lines and if possible, in one day to get a sense of key areas of the city. Be prepared to wait up to 30 mins for a bus when hoping off at a given place and if you book in advance you can jump on one of the buses and take it to go to Suntec to get your ticket.

Pamela, our tour guide was awesome! She had a small group but the majority were Spanish speaking. Regardless…this did not deter her.

Well worth the noise from the duck to enjoy sites from land and water. Knowledgeable tour guide who encouraged interactivity.
It a must when visiting Singapore for the first time.

Gerry met us early in our hotel and it was perfect because we were ready. We picked up some others along the way and dropped off at the first Market and Hawkers area. It was so interesting to see the local culture seeing their fresh fish, meats and produce and we then went to the Hawkers area where we were offered many local dishes. Wow so much food and such great flavors. All along the way Gerry explained the culture and significance of the area. Sad to hear that the youth don’t want to continue the tradition.
Next we went to the local Chinese Hawkers and learned about their foods and are many more delicious dishes. The food that was untouched by us. Was given to a poor man to take home to his family. Gerry is very conscious about gibing back to the people and supporting the local businesses. There was no push to purchase anything and he paid for us to ride the metro and bus to transfer between stops. So helpful for the rest of our stay!!
Finally we went to see the Mosque and a temple. As Ramadan is on Wednesday, many of the locals are fasting and was interesting to chat with locals as we sat eating our Gelato for dessert. Gerry said get as much as you want, which most of us had one scoop because food was more than plentiful all day!! After our last stop he paid for our taxi anywhere we wanted to go in.
the city. What a great gesture!!!
    I highly recommend him!!
