We, a party of six pax, had an awesome 3.5 hours family activity, which was arranged by Chef Colin from Let's Go Cook Singapore on 17 September '23. The original plan of the activity was to start with a wet market tour which was located near to the activity venue. Unfortunately, due to the closure of the wet market for renovation, Colin had to improvise the program & we ended up with a neighbourhood tour instead. However, it turned out to be a very pleasant experience.
Despite that 4 of us are Singapore residents (the other two are foreigners) and are in fact residing nearby the activity venue, we gained a lot of new learning during the neighbourhood tour. Colin did a fantistic job imparting his knowledge on the local Singapore history and way of living, which were new to us despite being residents.
The main highlight of the tour was of course the family cooking activity where we were coached by Chef Colin to prepare 3 dishes i.e. Singapore Fried Hokkien Noodle, Vegetarian spring roll and Kueh Dadar.
Thank you, Colin, for an awesome time together. Great that you have a dual talent as a great Chef and tour guide too.
