We were so pleased with this tour! Our guide, Marcus, was extremely knowledge, very helpful and kind. What a great guide to orient us to all that Arab Street, Chinatown and little India had to offer. We did a lot of walking while seeing so much of this aspect of Singapore. There is so much interesting history with sites like temples and Hawker centers and wet markets and other outdoor market areas. It was also a great introduction to how locals live and shop.

The introduction of the culture of Singapore through the food was fabulous. We love the “personal tour” as it provided us with the ability to ask questions and to have open conversations about Singapore then and now! We only wish we had more time to explore things on our own now that we know what’s what and where!! We will definitely recommend this tour to any others who are undecided.

We actually did a private food tour rather than the small group. What a fabulous experience! Our guide, Gee Soo, could not have been more engaging. Knowledgeable, kind, always interesting and interested. He was excellent. And the day is just so interesting and so full of deliciousness - it was almost impossible to pick a favorite food. Also really wonderful to get to see multiple neighborhoods, learn history, take public transit (busses - we love taking public transit and Singapore has very up-to-date busses!) Honestly, we'd do this tour again. HIGHLY recommend.

Gerry is a national treasure in Singapore. Having him show us around was a (maybe THE) highlight of our visit. We learned things that we would never have otherwise. Street food choices were also great, and it was in the company of someone who seemed like an old friend. Highly recommended!

We had the most glorious tour with Helen who is so engaged in her love of her home city / country and her culture. We experienced a beautiful tour that did not seem to have a finish. She was so engaging and gave us so much more both in what we saw and experienced as well as the time she gave for us to explore Singapore.

Very nice guide, excellent food experience. We would have never tried the foods he was suggesting, so it was really a good thing.

We nick-named our guide 'Honest' John. He was amazing in providing a wonderfully informative tour of Chinatown and varying food experiences. From fish ball soups to durian iceblocks the range of food we tried was exceptional. Many were dishes we would not normally have tried as we would not know what the dishes were, but John made the experience not only enjoyable but a feast for all senses.

I can't imagine a better experience to start my short visit to Singapore. Leo welcomed me to his country by explaining history, culture, personal insights and the delicious food.
His tour gave me the confidence to go out the next day to keep exploring and returning to some of the places we had been the day before.
He is so personable and knowledgable, the time just flies.

I highly recommend "Wok 'n' Stroll" and our guide Jan for a great food tour experience in Singapore. He took us to some unique and lesser-known spots, shared the history and culture of the city, and introduced us to amazing flavours that we never would have discovered on our own. Jan's knowledge and ability to show us hidden gems made the tour unforgettable. Thanks, Jan, for a great food tour experience! We'll definitely be back for more!

Arthur actually arrived at our agreed upon meeting place prior to the agreed upon time, so we began as soon as my wife and I arrived. One of his first questions was whether we had anything else planned that day as he felt that the amount of time advertised for the tour was insufficient. Since we did not, Arthur provided us with a very comprehensive food and cultural tour of the 3 main ethnic groups found in Singapore. Being an avid photographer, Arthur was very eager to take pictures of my wife and I. He took us to a number of "off the beaten track" shops and food establishments along with the more well known Hawker center. I have a hearing problem, but had no problem understanding Arthur. His English is excellent and he made sure that my wife and I both heard and understood what he was saying. We ended with an amazing full-day tour that was definitely a major highlight of our southeast Asia vacation. I definitely recommend Arthur! Note - my wife and I took this tour in January 2018.

Went on a tour with Rahim which was a surprise birthday present for myself. Rahim was an extremely personable and lovely tour guide who has never ending energy and great knowledge of Singapore. The vegetarian tour went through delights including, but not limited to:

Indian Rojak (Try the flour with coconut, amazing!!!)
    Vegetarian Chinese / Japanese
    Vegetarian Indonesian
    Numerous drinks and snacks
    Lots of local fruit

Overall was a great tour with a great guide. I'd definitely recommend it for people who want to try more than just salads but remain vegetarian in Singapore.

What a thoroughly enjoyable tour with Kim - she is a font of knowledge and really interesting and engaging. We sampled many local foods including Durian (not as bad as people make out) and found out so much about the local area where the Chinatown Hawker Centre was located. You have to be prepared to feel challenged with some food offerings but that is part of the experience - it is absolutely fine to say you don't like a particular dish.

Wear something cool and take an extra bottle of water as it can get quite hot and sticky - as Singapore does. Enjoy
