Be amazed by the beauty of this garden light decoration. Like in a fairy tale or a fantasy film like the cinema Avatar 😅 I am very excited to explore every best spot to take photos 😉

Made a visit here for 15th day of Chinese New Year. It was crowded, and there were a lot of tourists. Some of the staff was rude and I sort of got the vibe that it’s because they don’t like the tourists. Anyway, small garden on the top, a Buddhist museum on one level, and everything you’d expect at a temple. They offer wraps to wear over your shorts and shawls for over your shoulders if you didn’t dress for the temple. This wasn’t my favorite temple experience, I’ve been to many in Japan and Malaysia. However, I count myself lucky to have gotten to go on the 15th day and participate and pray for the family.

We started by going to the Reunion Cafe' and were inspired by the area set aside for connecting senior citizens with one another. Then we had an excellent guided tour of the history of Singapore section. Our guide really brought the history to life.

While on holidays in Singapore I visited the Changi Chapel and Museum. My grandfather was a POW at Changi from the Fall of Singapore until liberation. I have been wanting to get here for some time however the last few visits to Singapore the Museum was being renovated. Very glad that I took the time to visit. Found some information on my grandfather and was advised by the guides there to email any further information to the curator for them to update. I do hope the information I have emailed the curator will be used to update information on my grandfather. I purchased our tickets online however could have easily just have turned up on the day. We did the tour via the robot which was an interesting way of telling the story of Changi. Definitely a place you need to visit

Interesting ( in a weird way) place, had a very enjoyable tour from Paul. We were looking for something different than a garden or zoo, this enjoyably fit the bill. Recommend the museum, and the tour, for sure.

This is a modern, well-organized and well-run museum. It displays different Asian cultures and the historical connections between them.

The archaeological artifacts and ancient artworks on exhibition show the history of Singapore's special position as a global trading center and a melting pot of different cultures.

The content is excellent, and the layout is well designed.

The exhibition will be of interest to art lovers and history or archeology buffs. You may spend half a day to visit.

It’s a small museum and a short tour, but packed with so much knowledge and love for all things Peranakan. The place is filled with many interesting curios, big and small. Our guide Alvin’s passion and warm hospitality made this visit a sheer joy!

This was a nice museum that informs about the different cultures that make up Peranakan.

My favourite display was a room filled with photos where you could learn more about them.

In addition to the Singapore city museum, pop in to this free of charge exhibition close to China town, that explains how the city has evolved. You can easily spend an hour inside watching the miniature model of the city and learning how the city has changed and developed over time. Next to the city gallery, there is and excellent food court that is popular with locals and tourists.

Really interesting heritage museum. Very small, quick and easy to get around but worth it to understand the heritage of Singapore.

We always enjoy a trip to the science centre. Unfortunately they have removed the option to buy tickets in person and you are required to buy online with a credit card. I hate arriving somewhere with excitement then spending the first 5 minutes looking at my phone. Also, you are required to share your phone number, email and nationality when you purchase tickets.
