Perched on the Singapore River just below the colorful shades of Clark Quay is this building currently housing the communications ministry in Singapore. This seemingly modern rainbow is actually an historic structure that was the old police station. This explains its location in the colonial quarter. In a beautiful sun drenched tropical city so many buildings are painted white. However, this one breaks that with an amazing rainbow around each window and shutter. The color scheme is carried vertically from the ground floor to the top. However, each floor as you go horizontal is mixture of so many colors. Also if you travel the river to Clarke Quay, you can't miss it.

Visited on a recommendation and were very impressed. The center specializes in printmaking and pushing the boundaries of that art form. Also, has artists in residence producing work, and finally offers works for sale. Really interesting collection and learned a lot about contemporary printmaking field.

It was a great 1 hour challenging enough for adults and not scary for kids. The clues really make you think. Don't panic.

Probably 1 of the best contemporary art galleries in Singapore and located in the heart of orchard road. I go visit them a few times a year and view their good collection from murakami, yayoi, hirst, miro, Chagall, etc. Indeed, I've bought a few pieces from them over the years. They have branches too in Seoul, hongkong , London etc and I've viewed their galleries too

The shops blend into one another and the layout is not linear so you'll have to go looking both high and low and back and forth. Love the Thai-flavored, handmade soaps. The overall name seems to be Naiise. Nice!

Gnani arts gallery has a beautiful collection of paintings by renowned artists. The gallery staff and management are very responsive and helpful. It great to see Indian art forms in Singapore and how much they are respected. Mr. P. Gnana's sculptures and paintings a mix of contemporary and traditional Indian techniques are indeed beautiful and meaningful.

Yip Yew Chong's 1st solo exhibition was the magnet that drew me to this gallery. My experience was enriched by Melvin and knowledgeable and friendly staff who also introduced me to the works of Indonesian artist Mulyana, which was an eye-opener.
Through Melvin's explanation, I had a better appreciation of Yip Yew Chong's works. A pity I went with an empty stomach because many of Yip's artworks are so true to life that they made me crave for a bite!

Wandered around the Central Business District of Singapore and chanced upon the UOB Art Gallery. A boutique Art Gallery showcasing Singapore’s artist. Highly recommended to visit if you are in the area.
