This elegant, stately British-colonial-architecture building was initially completed in 1827 and, until 1999, served as Singapore's Parliament House. It is now The Arts House and serves as a multidisciplinary arts centre, and venue for concerts and art exhibitions. The building appears to be very well maintained.

i was impressed by the range of styles and techniques represented in the gallery's collection. It's evident that a lot of thought and care goes into curating each exhibit.

This was an easy, relaxing museum to visit. The large “book” it came with was great to keep in itself. I only had one issue with the museum: what does it say about you when you have at least six of the items at home?!?!?

Visited on a recommendation and were very impressed. The center specializes in printmaking and pushing the boundaries of that art form. Also, has artists in residence producing work, and finally offers works for sale. Really interesting collection and learned a lot about contemporary printmaking field.

Probably 1 of the best contemporary art galleries in Singapore and located in the heart of orchard road. I go visit them a few times a year and view their good collection from murakami, yayoi, hirst, miro, Chagall, etc. Indeed, I've bought a few pieces from them over the years. They have branches too in Seoul, hongkong , London etc and I've viewed their galleries too

Featuring works from renowned local artists and emerging talents, the gallery captures the essence of Singapore’s multi-ethnic heritage and forward-looking spirit.

From the vivid depictions of traditional festivals and street scenes to abstract interpretations of modern life, explore how artists have drawn inspiration from their surroundings and heritage.

Alongside, the architectural section delves into the interplay between historic structures and avant-garde designs, reflecting Singapore’s journey from past to present and its aspirations for the future

The shops blend into one another and the layout is not linear so you'll have to go looking both high and low and back and forth. Love the Thai-flavored, handmade soaps. The overall name seems to be Naiise. Nice!
