Singapore does not have many places to skate on ice. This is one of them. I was given the opportunity to try out here recently. After entry, you go to a counter to exchange your shoes for a pair of skates and change into them before going into the rink. It was quite a enjoyable experience thought the rink was divided about a third seems to be use for private lesson and the rest for skating. So, most people were just skating around but there are some trying or practicing some figure skating moves going in all directions and more people came in later and it became more difficult to maneuver around. Good thing yes they have this kind of "skating walker" for beginner who need some assistance. They have a toilet near the shoes/skates counter so it's good to go before you start to maximise your time on the rink. It not too cool and I was in my T-shirt and started sweating after skating a bit any way. I should have brought a pair of gloves. I think it will be easier to push yourself up after falling with gloves. I fell 3 times and got but hand to push my hands on the ice which gets quite slippery.

Despite its rather long history in Singapore, nowadays the various Timezones house roughly the same set of machines, so there's really not much difference between them. Expect lots of kids and teenagers, but I think they do not detract you from the experience.

The carnival-like machines that award tickets, which you can later exchange for gifts, are in my opinion not as fun (some were really short too, like there's one where you hit a button with a soft mallet ONCE for $2+, not worth at all). Also, the dance machines were placed quite closely together; an arguably bad decision because the music clashes with one another.

They often have promos where you can buy credits at a discounted price, so do wait for those to stack up your credits. Best to go in pairs because most games are as such.

Get ready for a fun-filled experience with your lil ones while learning to operate the giant scoops and claws! Children get to experience first hand, with helmets and safety vests, how operating heavy machinery might be like. There are four diggers in total - one sand excavator, one sand clawer and two ball pit clawer. Each game play runs on one token and lasts for five minutes. I personally feel that the duration is just right. It can get a little draggy if it is too long and three minutes game play is definitely too short to learn the tricks to manoeuvring. You've got to give it a try at least once!
