I thoroughly enjoyed my time at this place. It has a captivating and aesthetically pleasing ambiance, reminiscent of a library.

As long as DSLR cameras are used discreetly without causing any disturbance to other guests, they are permitted.

Visited the Customer Show Asia 2023 exhibition at Hall 404. Wonderful learning experience with the many booths displaying digital solutions for customer service. Freshworks introduced me to omni-channels with AI powered chatbots. Vonage touched on managing from one inbox and engage and convert customers on their preferred channels be it facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, SMS, etc. Foodbank enlightens me on their mission and vision. Zapkad spoke on digital business card. Holord impressed me with their AI avatar. There were many others. It was a one stop service platform to update oneself. on the latest development in customer service delivery.

In the morning, one speaker touched on 'Customer First, Digital First and Continuous Improvement'. Digitalisation has found its way into customer service and it is imperative for business to be innovative and stay ahead through digital First and tapping on AI and data analyltics capability.

The lunch was sumptuous and delicious. Excellent work by the event organiser.

I had attended several seminars and exhibitions at Suntec City Convention Center and that at Singapore EXPO but this was my first time here for a security conference.

Sands Convention Center is located beside the Sands Casino so it is attractive to foreign delegates who may want to try their luck at the casino. The surrounding attractions are also gorgeous: Gardens by the Bay, the Esplanade, Shenton Way, and the city's financial hub are right here.

Singapore EXPO is remotely far not very centralized. But all three are easily accessible through public transportation. I prefer Suntec City as it is nearer my house.

I like the christmas decoration here. Although there are several exhibition halls but they are not structurally separated. I came for the security conference at Room A but I can still venture to other exhibition halls to view their displays. I like visiting each booths to learn their products and how the products are useful to solve our work problems.

The buffet food catered for the audience and participants is also pretty healthy and sumptuous.

Conducive environment, good food and a lot of new knowledge to learn and update.

Will look out for future conferences and seminars to attend here.

The Library@Harbourfront sets the bar for what will be the library of the future looks like. It has defined and shown what a modern library is without losing the classic touch of traditional libraries. Located at 3F of Vivo city mall, formerly known as Bukit Merah Public Library it is the largest public shopping mall library in Singapore, Originally founded in 1982, it was renovated and reopened with its new modern design in 2018. As a public library access is free for visitors.

It is divided into 3 zones: Kids, Teens and Adults. Books borrowing and returning area are located right as you enter and are self-serviced via their electronic kioks. From your left side is the kids zone which is super cool and informative. I've never been to this area but I could see that there are tons of activities, learning & play areas and most of all books which are both physical copy as well as e-books. It is really a kids friendly zone adjusting and catering to their needs so they will not feel constrained just by reading but it is a learning place where they can both read, study and have fun.

To my right are the Teens and Adult zone and this is the biggest area. With a collection of more than 200,000 materials both physical and digital books, magazines, and newspapers. This is where I study, write and read. My go to and favorite topics are Travel, Food, Fashion and Lifestyle. Right away the Magazines as well as Travel & Recreation materials are located first which is what I like very much. The interior design and layout is brightly lit, cozy, spacious and modern yet it maintains the standard library set-up in organizing their books and other materials. I loved that they painted the shelves and cabinets white which adds more brightness to the room. Materials are divided into different classifications and are catalogued accordingly which made it easier for to find. There is also a kiosk machine to find the materials you need. The spacing between shelves is perfect which gives you enough room and comfortable space to look around. Within the shelves you would see blue sofas where you could sit and can read/study/relax. There are charging stations for your phone, laptops and other electronic devices which for me shows more technological services provided by the library. There are study, observation and viewing rooms on the left side which I haven't tried yet but I could see huge display screens showcasing different movies and documentaries which are very interesting and will surely try next time. On the right side around the area there are study tables facing the window and as you move ahead you would see E-newspaper desks at the end of the shelves.

At the end of the the zone is where the grandest part of all where I normally stay: the classroom type seating area designed in U-shape presentation theater like hall similar to amphitheater. It has a huge panoramic window at the end which has the most amazing and impeccable view of Sentosa uninterrupted. I could see USS & Shrek's castle from here, the Sentosa Tram, Sentosa Boardwalk and the Sea. This is what makes this library stand out - a very creative and innovative design not found in other libraries. Not only I learned from going here but I also enjoyed and got relaxed with this wonderful view. This area is divided into 2 halls: the left one is bigger which has the best view and in addition it also serves coffee table books and DVDs. The right one near the e-newspaper area is the smaller one but still has the stunning view of Sentosa. I normally go to the left one which has different types of desks and chairs which I really loved as well as their coffee table books. At the bottom part of the halls are Yellow wooden type leaning chairs which perfectly match the amazing view.

Following the standard library procedures - silence and cleanliness is a must. This is a place to study, learn and relax. Maintain cleanliness and tidiness whenever your using their materials and services. During weekends and peak hours the library might be full so observe proper timing while using the library. They are closed during public holidays and during this pandemic, QR Code is a must for contact tracing and they usually inform designated usage time when entering the library. Finally, I wanted to salute the library staff who are very friendly and helpful, some of which are volunteers who maintain and manage the overall day to day activities & services of the library for smooth and efficient delivery of their materials and services to the public. Most notably the cleanliness and orderliness of the library itself - I could see their staff cleaning the library desk and chairs every so often - I really admire this, truly an impeccable service they provide. In addition, their toilet is also quite huge and very clean. Concluding my Excellent review, if you happen to drop by Vivo do visit the Library@Harbourfront and you will be surprised that it's not just your ordinary library - it is about what learning and relaxing means at the same time. Kudos to you all Library@Harbourfront!!!

With a six hour wait between flights this is a lovely place for a relaxing wait. We had a shower and a lovely snack together with. Few glasses of complimentary white wine. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Seminars and exhibitions are the best platform to update one's knowledge on the latest development in a particular field. Today, I had the opportunity to attend the Singapore Police WorkPlan Seminar and Exhibition 2023 at the Singapore EXPO and updated my knowledge on the latest trend in policing and crime control.

The spacious exhibition hall showcased the latest technological enhancement that SPF has embraced and embarked to prepare herself to meet the future challenges in policing. The new `Ang Chia' Tactical Vehicle is more nimble and is equipped with sirens, blinkers and strobe light to enhance its presence. The Next-Generation Fast Response Car is equipped with in-house video recording system, Automated Number Plate recognition system and the Integrated Vehicular Dashboard to improve officers' operational effectiveness and safety. Drones were also deployed in search, enforcement operations, crowd management and aerial patrols. Robots would be deployed for future community engagement and attend to general queries from public. Game machines would appear in events for anti-scam education through games. Intelligent driving circuits will eventually replace the work of driving testers in practical driving tests.

SPF is always forward looking and future ready. However, technology enhancement must always be complemented by public trust which is the core pillar in successful policing as reiterated by Minister for Home Affairs in his speech. Without public trust and confidence, policing would be like fishes struggling to survive without the ocean of water that sustained them.

The brunch is sumptuous and the venue was ideal for interaction with other officers from other units. This is the right place for SPF to hold such a private event and had the space to display all the tactical vehicles, equipment and gadgets. It is also within walking distance from the EXPO mrt station and the car parks are directly in front of the seminar hall.

I visited this place just out of curiosity, and spend no more than 5 minutes inside. They do have some brochures & flyers introducing the area, if you like to have some printed map & brochure handy, but nothing special. The merchandise on display is also not special. I didn't get to speak to the staff, just take some brochure and leave, since I didn't intended to purchase any tour there. The best part maybe the $1 ice potong sold in front of the center.

Plenty of different seating and areas make this lounge a pleasure whether you’re wanting to dine, relax or pop in for a flying visit. There’s a good range of food, particularly healthy options, with a small section of plates cooked to order in the main dining area.

Seating in the lounge area is comfortable with plenty of charging sockets, lots of TV screens and there’s a decent amount of reading material provided too. With a welcoming reception from the entrance staff it’s a good lounge and I wouldn’t avoid it next time.

We have used this lounge twice in our December traveling. Somehow the lounge was almost full and the staff were seen rejecting walk-in passengers or divert them to other nearby lounges.

Although our flights times were different in both trips, somehow the foods were the same! And honestly, the T3 lounge we went to was supposedly to be the best among all the 3 (T1 and T2), the spread was quite small and pathetic. Only fried hokkien noodles, pasta, bland porridge, curry chicken, stir fried veggies were about all for the mains, with some salads and bread, biscuits.

The only consolation probably was the freeflow of hot and cold drinks, alcoholic and beer beverages. There were also some fresh milk and fruit juices too.

While the ambience at the end corner was cosy and nice, most were crowded with people and noisy. And they always blocked off a section of the lounge (maybe for VIP) , usually at the side corner and so all the visitors had to use the main hall.

And the two massage chairs were always occupied by people for a long time, leaving others no chance of using them. The washrooms were generally cleaned but some times the floors were wet and not wiped.

As for the service, staff were generally ok and efficient in clearing used plates and cups. And the TV screen with the flight timings were not updated timely nor had a full comprehensive flights info from all airlines, and only a few selected airlines, and usually only displayed the same screen.

We had used this lounge several times over the years and found that the standard had dropped significantly. And if not the credit card company's promotions and tour agency vouchers, we would probably skip this lounge and go on to the other ones.

Great choice, extraordinary quality, perfect cleanliness plus sufficient space for many guests at the „lounge rushhours“. Only 4 stars because of the missing daylight.

Emirates is my favorite airline, and the lounge here in Singapore is almost perfect. But since there isn’t a 4.5 stars, it gets 5.

Good spread of cuisine - though the satay was a bit desiccated, as usual. Although the food counter wasn’t as long as the one in SQ, they served high quality main courses - tonight i had the pistachio coated lamb chops (amazing!) and potato gratin (another winner) with some vegs. Just take a look at the pic - almost like what you can get in a steakhouse eh (except that i ate only one chop instead of a few). I recalled years ago they even served dim sum (apart from other choices) which would be heated up upon request and brought to your table.

Service staff was available and highly attentive.

The lounge was cosy and spacious - definitely not as noisy or cramped like SQ biz. I felt relaxed and comfortable here.

On Saturday I visited the Singapore Tourist Center on Orchard Road. I explained that I would like to see the Merlion and the Singapore Cricket Club. The officer at the center gave me a map and vaguely indicated where the Merlion and the SCC were located (but not precisely which was annoying and caused me to wander around unnecessarily). But that annoyance was nothing compared to when I arrived at the SCC because I could barely recognize it, it was covered with temporary fencing and the area in front had had a temporary stadium built upon it (probably for Singapore National Day). I would have expected the Tourist Center to have known what areas and sites were being disrupted due to the National Day celebrations. It ruined part of my holiday to Singapore and I found it very annoying. Given tourism contributes about S$27 billion to the Singapore economy, one would have hoped that a little more effort might be made to help tourists.
