First time coming here after it was renovated and shifted from the Bukit location to the Island location.

Lovely ambience after the renovations. Service staff provides excellent service.

    Food quality has dropped
I ordered the Chasu Ramen, which was quite a disappointment as the broth is so bland. Even the plating and presentation was like those you find at hawker or at cafes.

The Teppanyaki chicken was ok as the gravy was so sweet if taken alone.

Chawamushi, for its price at nearly $5, was not worth it as ingredients within were very bare minimal.

This course was in pretty good nick when we played. It’s an enjoyable course with a real par 6 measuring 651m from the tips. We’d definitely come back & play again. The other facilities are a little dated & run down, but it is a public access course.
Cost to play 18 holes was around $185 AUD which included a cart & upon check in they want to site your official golf link handicap.

There are golf country clubs and there golf country clubs in Singapore. Some are chic chic up there in the levels, with members from high society.

But, what the h&^*, you paid for a country club to ENJOY the facilities, bring family and friends to hang out.

Seletar stands out, because of its members. Every one is so friendly, maybe its because of the profile of the members - no over-rated attention getting VIPs, no prominent individual, no billionaires, no millionaires.. just plain decent, courteous members.

It stands out, because the food is EXCELLENT. Great local fare !

The Satay puts Satay club to shame. At Seletar you get chunky meaty satay regardless if you order Chicken or Pork. No such thing as shriveled meat on a stick.

Fried hokkien prawn mee, char kuey teow, rojak, etc... ALL GOOD and TASTY !!!

It stands out, because the staff (no matter how hassled they are) are fantastic and always smiles

It stands out, because the club makes it a point to maintain the club with lots of social activities. Dance classes, tae kwondo, etc...

And show me a club with live bands at Seletar Tavern, You end a game of golf, you sit at the open terrace, watch the sun set, listen the band and chat with your golf buddies on that Hole in one that got away

Went here last Saturday with a group. Far exceeded our expectations. We were looked after by Tess who was amazing, frequently bringing over drinks (as we had the free flow option) and very attentive/helpful. We booked 4hrs, ended up actually staying for 5hrs (paid an extra 1hr) because it was that much fun. Played a few courses on the SIM first, then did the driving range. the Club options they have in the shop are good, however we took our owns clubs. SIM is very accurate, takes some getting used to on the short game as you don't have the visual like on a course.

We are already booking again to go back a few times over the next 2 months.

Highly recommend for anyone who want to enjoy golf whilst being able to easily socialise and have fun whilst playing different courses around the world.

The golf course is so beautiful, it doesn't matter that this place is inaccessible via the MRT. Restaurant is great too.

The ground is very good and the length is good for children and adults. It's mostly par 3 and 4. If you like golf and want to practice, this is for you. However, we started at 5 and we have done 9 holes but it became very dark around 7 so we ended at hole 8.

Champions is a reasonably priced (For Singapore) public golf course (Around $40 for 9 holes). Course is challenging with narrow fairways and plenty of places to lose balls in the trees. Golf Cart hire is available on a first come first served basis. There is a gentleman selling drinks inc. beer on the 5th hole which offers a nice respite from the heat.

Course can get a bit muddy and the greens aren't perfectly manicured but there aren't many other public golf courses in Singapore apart from the Par 3 Course in Mandai and the hard to book and very expensive Marina Bay course.

A neat but challenging Golf course with 9 holes but different sets of tees and some double greens to create a 18 hole setting. conditions are nice with cowgrass and greens roll well. The course is short but tricky , don't underestimate the course and it will take several times to get used to the bounces and roll around the fairways and greens!

Their 18 holes have been newly renovated.

However government has taken back the golf course and I believe we have limited time to play the course before it's turned into a commercial development.

So pls go and try this course if you have a chance

We had a lot of fun playing this hilly tight tricky course. It’s the type of course that you need to have local knowledge to score well. Now that we’ve played it we’ll be back to improve our scores as we know where to put the ball.
The course condition was ok, but probably not as good as MBGC.
Cost for 18 holes was $189 AUD which included a cart. They allowed us to use the showers & change rooms afterwards.
We also enjoyed a lovely lunch on the terrace in the Red Lantern restaurant.
We emailed the club to arrange our game & they were more than happy to accommodate us.

There are about 6-7 marinas in Singapore, and this is one of them situated up north. Visitors to Singapore can berth their boats here as guests. A less expensive option that others in the south and south-west. Typically, my friends would stay a day or two before they moved their boats to Johor or Riau. The club handles all CIQ matters. Unless you are a boater or has a car, no tourists are likely to come to this end of Ponggol. A walk along the broadwalk during sunset is a nice experience though. I like the idea of living on a boat. Cheaper than staying in a mortgaged home. In the morning, one could have kaya toast at Ah Lok, and sunset or evening seafood at the pier bar. There are also wakeboarding sports and fishing operators to the Malacca Straits or South China Sea. This marina is not your typical see and go place of interest. Idea: One could host seafood BBQ dinners for business guests to take in the niche seclusion. However shiuttle bus will have to be arranged. This is not the best marina that I have been to in the rest of the world.

I took advantage of the TBG&CC promotion which included unlimited golf, cart, caddy and ferry tickets to try a new course only 30 minutes from Singapore. It was well worth it.
The Greg Norman course is very well established and shows his trademark bunkers (80+ and in two rounds I saw a lot of them) and it was in very good condition. There were not a lot of players, perhaps due to Ramadan, so progress was quick.
My caddy was great and knew the greens well. On the subject of greens they were in the middle of coring and top dressing so some were a challenge however those that had not been set upon were true and quick.
The pick up arrangements went smoothly and the staff were friendly and helpful and the online booking people (Anggela deserves mention) were very good.
All in all, even though the club house is a little tired it certainly represented excellent value for money.
I would be happy to play there again in the near future

As an avid golfer when I knew I was going to be in Singapore I was looking for a place like this . Turned up one evening with friend & without a booking but we were early enough we got a spot . The simulator itself was good although it didn't have the ball return like others do so was bit tiresome having to fetch the ball myself but other than that was a lot of fun . The guy who was running the place was very helpful & friendly and also very knowledgeable . Would highly recommend this place & would use again if in Singapore
