- Guest6 contributionsI organised a team building session at Food Playground and am happy to say that I was not disappointed. The facilitators, Cindy and Helen were friendly and cheery and helped made our team building experience a memorable one.
Definitely a BIG RECOMMEND for those interested in trying something a bit different from your usual run of the mill team building activities.Written 28 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Definitely felt smarter after this!Written 21 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- E BaleMorden, UK11 contributionsMy husband and I recently traveled to Singapore for a 3-day city break, and I can confidently say that the walking tour provided by Wei was the absolute highlight of our trip!!!Wei went above and beyond in making the experience unforgettable. He shared a fascinating blend of history, culture, and personal family stories that made the tour feel so much more meaningful. It meant a lot! Thank you Wei!
The pace of the tour was perfect, with plenty of breaks, which allowed us to soak in everything without feeling rushed. Wei covered a lot of ground, from local food experiences to the rich history of Singapore, making sure we got to see the best parts of the city. His knowledge was impressive, and his humor kept the tour engaging from start to finish.
Wei’s warmth and kindness shone through! We truly felt like we were exploring the city with a friend, rather than just a tour guide. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Singapore and will definitely tell our friends about it. Thank you, Wei, for making our trip so special!Written 22 March 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. His wealth of knowledge, great attitude, amazing food choices and fantastic conversation all made for a wonderful tour.
Gerry made sure everyone was so well looked after, we were so spoilt! It was our first day in Singapore and the tour was an excellent introduction to understanding the Hawker Centres and Singapore way of life in terms of foods and culture.
PS was a delightful, knowledgeable and considerate host adjusting the tour to our needs. The tour included a range of food and drinks. What we enjoyed is tasting the meals that we probably would not have ordered but nothing that we wouldn't have eaten. As PS suggests, make sure you are hungry!
In retrospect the only thing I would change is less walking around the markets - just not our thing, and I am sure PS would have adjusted the tour to accommodate this.
We were a group of 4 over 55, but tour is suitable for all ages.Written 4 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - Patricia Jade OShanghai Region, China2 contributionsHad the best time ever!
Elaine, the lady manning the shop was super friendly like a pop of sunshine with endless energy. Jacob the boss was kind and super patient. But your best friend here is Ah Thai who knows where everything is stored so he can find the exact amount of items you specifically want.
Had a wide range of wonderful pieces at super competitive pricing and well worth the trip when you are in SG!
It was an amazing discovery and one of my best experiences ever ; I definitely will be back for more! There are plenty of souvenir shops at reasonable prices. Loads of restaurants and bars to choose from. Some great temples for those photo opportunities.Written 9 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Mohina SPune, India2 contributionsMy first time ever VR experience, coming from someone who has never even played on consoles and it took my breath away. Had an eight year old with us and he enjoyed it immensely. Darsh was patient, friendly and efficient. The place is a bit hidden but easy enough to find. Highly recommended.Written 6 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

It's an incredible museum full of fascinating information and stories, all presented as a captivating journey as you walk through the rooms and stairwells of a shop house. I highly recommend visiting here.Written 26 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Michael ULas Vegas, NV49,348 contributionsBuilt in 2007 at a cost of $75,000,000 Singapore dollars this Tang-styled Temple resides prominently in Chinatown. Home to thousands of statues, two museums and a lot of scripture believers will be drawn to the enormous gold vessel reportedly home to Buddha's left canine tooth. Free to visit.Written 8 March 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- KCTravelerSeattle, WA37 contributionsWe took private tour with Leo for two days. The first day we explored the city ethnic communities and he introduced us to the secrets of Hawkers. On the second day, we toured historic sites where he really helped us understand how Singapore developed as a city/state. He was so knowledgeable and showed us places where tourist never go. We asked him to personalize the visit for us and he accomodated all of our wishes. We are history nerds and don't like shopping so we spent the time learning and absorbing everything Leo had to teach us. He is a first class private guide!Written 26 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- FiveDiversSan Antonio, TX432 contributionsOne of the original hawker centers. Great food and food selections from every culture with great prices. Busy but not crazy like La Pauli Sat. Bring napkins. Tables get full so strategize and have someone stake out a table by marking with bags, napkin packs and umbrellas (no one steals anything in Singapore) while others purchase food. Lines get long at some of the stalls, especially at the Hainan chicken stall.Written 2 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
