We went to the Flower Dome and Cloud Forest in the later afternoon. Earlier in the day we had gone to the Botanical Gardens. If we known exactly what we were seeing at the Flower Dome I would have either not gone to the Botanical Gardens or not gone to the Flower Garden. We were a little bored until we saw the Monet exhibit which was wonderful! The Cloud Forest is phenomenal and well worth the cost..it's breathtaking! Highly recommend this. We liked the Botanical Gardens more than the Flower Dome.

You could spend an entire day enjoying these stunning, sprawling gardens, which are so large they're served by separate metro stations on different lines at each end. Given the size, and the typical weather in Singapore, you'll want to make sure you have water and sun protection with you, and possibly snacks as well. That the entire place bar the Orchid Garden is free is amazing, and makes it all the more attractive as a must-see place in Singapore. The only thing I feel there's a lack of is signage, as the place is so big and there's so much to see that it's easy to miss something because it's not clearly enough signposted. Otherwise, the place is a gem.

If you only have limited time in Singapore, make sure you visit the Cloud Forest in Gardens by the Bay - it really is amazing. There's so much and such a variety of vegetation to admire that you can easily spend hours here. The only downside is having to jostle to see things and take pictures of them what with all the (would-be) influencers posing at length for photos and videos all over the place.

We enjoyed the half-day we spent at the zoo, and certainly could have spent longer here, but we'd already done a lot of walking and needed to rest our legs! On that front, the free shuttles, which do a loop around the zoo, are much appreciated. There's a huge variety of animals to see. The walk-in butterfly and wildlife enclosure was the absolute highlight for us. Some of the exhibits are looking a little run-down, and most of the eateries were closed when we were there (a quiet Monday afternoon), but generally we had a lovely time.

Given the zoo is in the north of the island and not connected to the city by metro, we opted to get a Grab ride there and back to avoid the kerfuffle of navigating the public transport options. This added a fair bit to the cost, but was very convenient.

The National Orchid Garden in Singapore is a breathtaking showcase of nature’s beauty, nestled within the Singapore Botanic Gardens. Home to over 1,000 species and 2,000 hybrids, the garden features stunningly vibrant and meticulously arranged orchids in lush, serene surroundings.

I was given the opportunity to tour the Marina Bay Sands Hotel. It was breathtaking. I was allowed to go outdoors and enjoy the spectacle at night. The artwork and soundtrack were amazing. I also went to the top-floor Wolfgang Puck restaurant's bar. The beverages were excellent, the service was excellent, and the view was breathtaking!

The Singapore Flyer ofers the best views of the city.
these observation decks is a great way to see the city..
As you rise high above the skyline, you get a stunning panorama view of Marina Bay, Gardens by the bay and the famous landmarks like the Marina Bay Sands.

The cabins are spacious and comfortable, making it a relaxing ride.
the best time to visit is during sunset hours so that you can see the sunset also and enjoy the skyline of singapore sparkling in the sky

its a wonderful way to experience the beauty of Singapore from a different angle.

During my stay in Singapore, I really enjoyed spending some time exploring Chinatown. It was definitely one of the highlights in this trip. Mixes of modern malls and older European-style buildings were fascinating. Walking down those colorful streets, beautiful temples, and vibrant markets came into view. Chinatown, though Singapore boast of its very modern skyline, retains an old charm, which made it unique. The area is really safe to explore. There are loads of tourists and locals that roam around; I highly recommend a visit to Chinatown to get a flavor of Singapore's richness in history and culture! It's an excellent place to spend hours soaking up the atmosphere.

Changi International is one of the nicest international airports. They have priority lounges at every terminal including at the Jewel.

The Jewel is located by Terminal 1 , a must stop for the water fall, shopping, food and souvenirs. They have a luggage locker with a fee at the jewel as well.

The Changi Lounge at the Jewel is ok, given the location it is at it’s very crowded , people can pay to come in even without any priority status. It comes with limited foods and drinks offered, each customer is allowed to order one hot food from menu and one beer, all additional items will need to pay extra. This lounge does have showers to use for free.

Walk to other terminals from the Jewel is short, and easy to navigate.

It’s a lovely area - a bit crowded but not too bad and beautiful views of the harbour. The Merlion is cute! Lots of great eateries around there too

Arriving via taxi just after 7pm we chose not to queue 45 minutes for the tram and instead walk the trail. This was pretty quiet and we saw lots of animals at dusk, the highlight probably being the fishing cat. The whole trail took about 2 hours to complete including talking to the really helpful staff.

We then queued 5 mins for the tram which took around 20 minutes for the tour, highlight being a glimpse of the white tiger.

There was then an animal show at 10:15 to end the evening with a few of the animals not having been seen on either trail. The safari trail was definitely better than the tram although each had a few different animals.

The biggest letdown was the rhino feeding. Although the actual feeding was great the photographs are dreadful, each one is cropped badly or blurred. I’m so disappointed that we don’t have even a single picture with one of us on.

This was one of the best things i saw during my visit. The temple is right next to Maxwell MRT so very easy to access and right across from a hawker centre. The outside is colourful and dramatic but the ground floor of the temple takes that to a new level. All the statues and the massive hall with the chinese/Buddhist art is very impressive. lots of wooden lacquerwood. Towards the entrance by maxwell to the right hand side you can access the lft that will take you to the several floors of exhibition above, these include the actual relics and also an excellent presentation on the life of the Buddha Siddharta Gautama. This was very clear and easy to understand and one of the best displays of this kind I have seen with many statues form across the buddhist world. I also enjoyed the rooftop garden which was a nice rest with some lovely orchids.Worth seeing even if you are not of the Buddhist faith.

I rode the cable car just for fun up to Mount Faber, over to Sentosa, then back to the mainland. I didn't see much of anything on Sentosa that I really needed to see, but it was nice riding the cable cars. We also did the upgrade to a SkyOrb and was kind of cool. None of them were air conditioned, so it was hot.
