The Gardens are worth visiting in the evening when lit up. The music show takes place at 7.45 and 8.45. Don't bother trying to find a vantage point - just head for under the trees and lean back. The music only lasts for ten minutes. It wasn't amazing, just enjoyable. Crowds moved away quickly and easily afterwards. There was a massive queue for the tree walk but I'm not sure the view would be better from up there. It's free.

The Singapore Botanic Gardens is a must-visit for nature lovers! As a first-time visitor, I was amazed by the tranquil beauty of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. The National Orchid Garden was a highlight, showcasing vibrant orchids in stunning varieties. The Swan Lake and Ginger Garden were equally charming, offering peaceful spots to relax and explore.

The gardens are spacious, well-maintained, and free to enter (with a small fee for the Orchid Garden, which is worth it!). It’s the perfect place to escape the city’s hustle. I’ll definitely visit again!

This dome is stunning. The path through the vast space is well thought out and there is something to see around every corner. We were a group of 7 and everyone, including 3 kids (9, 9, & 12) enjoyed seeing all of the plants, waterfalls, statues and exhibits.

Con: My husband now wants to build a terrarium because he was so impsired.

I was given the opportunity to tour the Marina Bay Sands Hotel. It was breathtaking. I was allowed to go outdoors and enjoy the spectacle at night. The artwork and soundtrack were amazing. I also went to the top-floor Wolfgang Puck restaurant's bar. The beverages were excellent, the service was excellent, and the view was breathtaking!

During my stay in Singapore, I really enjoyed spending some time exploring Chinatown. It was definitely one of the highlights in this trip. Mixes of modern malls and older European-style buildings were fascinating. Walking down those colorful streets, beautiful temples, and vibrant markets came into view. Chinatown, though Singapore boast of its very modern skyline, retains an old charm, which made it unique. The area is really safe to explore. There are loads of tourists and locals that roam around; I highly recommend a visit to Chinatown to get a flavor of Singapore's richness in history and culture! It's an excellent place to spend hours soaking up the atmosphere.

My husband suggested we visit on our last day before our very late flight to fill in the time.
It was very quiet, Sunday lunchtime, lovely stroll around the area. We stopped for lunch at a little cafe, had nacho and chips was fine.
Then my son noticed something in the water and we rushed over to look. 2 otters playing with a fish. This just made my week. I’d been watching out for otters as I’d been led to believe they are everywhere, they are not.
We watched them fight over and eat a fish, they tree the head end back in the water and then a bloomin sea eagle came in and swooped it away!!!! And then we saw a turtle. Honestly what a great hour we had.
I believe it’s a different place at night as it was full of bars and restaurants. Hooters being one of them.

It’s a lovely area - a bit crowded but not too bad and beautiful views of the harbour. The Merlion is cute! Lots of great eateries around there too

This was pretty but was lackluster after going to the cloud dome first. Still a great tour though beautiful flowers. Anything from last gorgeous petals to the smallest flowers in the world viewable under a microscope.

I enjoy this mall since it has a distinct atmosphere than other malls in Indonesia and because it has quite a few restaurants that are rated by Michelin chefs. There are a lot of stores that sell branded brands, but the pricing are really rather amazing.
As soon as we stepped foot inside Marina Bay Sands for the very first time, we were greeted by a shopping center complete with opulent boutiques.
Complete with amenities, such as a theater for performances and a little river for gondolas to navigate
so even if there are a lot of people there, it does not feel or appear to be crowded at all.

Easy to find and beautiful. A very cool pedestrian bridge to walk to the Marina Bay Sands. At night, it is especially beautiful all lit up.
