A very nicely arranged mixture of trees, plants and artificial structures. one could say a large cyberpunk park. Avoid the weekends it gets crowded.

I came here via train on a late Sunday afternoon in early December 2022. The train station dropped you off at the far north of the garden. Let me tell you - be prepared to get very lost if it's your first time there. This place is huge!

It Is right next to the National University of Singapore. I kept stumbling into the University and having to make my way back into the Garden. There are a lot of people having picnics, taking photos of the birds/plants, exercising, walking their dogs - you name it! It was 88 degrees Fahrenheit and super humid - I, along with all the dogs I came across, were dying.

I couldn't make it much farther than the Corner House restaurant, which was the main reason I was there since I had reservations. Throughout the garden there were sprinkles of little museums here and there that were open to the public. They were amazing because they all had air conditioning and restrooms. If you need something to do to kill time, this is definitely the place to do it. You can easily spend 2 or 3 hours here. Even though the roads are all paved, make sure you bring your comfortable walking shoes.

Not to miss if you are interested in flowers and nature. Especially cool house worth visit. But after a while, despite the high diversity of flowers, it all begins to appear the same

I never expected to spend so much time in such a small place but it is extremely well designed and gives you more than enough to see and experience for two to three hours.

I came here on a Sunday afternoon in early December 2022. It costs $18 to ride the elevator to the observation deck. If you'd like to see the view without having to pay for a night's stay to access their famous infinity pool, it is worth it.

I am not a fan of heights but my friend recommended the view to me so I decided to check it out since I was already in the area. I stayed for a grand total of 5 minutes. They did sell drinks there if that's something you'd enjoy. The views up there is quite spectacular though. You can see all of downtown as well as the Gardens by the Bay.

To get here you'd have to go through the hotel. I had to ask a lot of different employees since I was coming from the shopping mall. If it's your first time, I'd recommend taking the train there since there is a train station right inside the shopping mall.

Great system with well laid our maps. You can, even, use your credit card to tap and pay for your fares.

The Singapore Flyer is stunning! It is such a worthwhile experience. We went around 17:00 when the sun was setting and the views were magnificent. If you are only doing a stop over in Singapore, this is a must-see attraction. It is magnificent. The 30-minute ride goes by so quickly. They do not overload the capsule so there is plenty space to move around and take plenty pictures.

Nice place to visit with young kids. Our toddler throughly enjoyed the bird park. Specially the high flyer and king of the skies shows. The park is well laid out and birds look well taken care of. Worth a visit for sure.

We did this walk at night. It was a lovely atmosphere with the trees all lit up. It was easy to find from the Gardens by the Bay SMRT station.

In summary- waterfall/atrium is impressive and a must see. Rest of Jewel is an expensive mall that can be skipped. Plan your visit strategically if an airport passenger or you can get stuck on the wrong side of the glass or dealing with luggage hassle.

The waterfall atrium is impressive, no question that you need to see it if you are in Singapore or passing through Changi Airport. HOW you visit it is the difference in experience. The Jewel is really the waterfall/atrium surrounded by a giant mall that attracts what feels like half of Singapore. So the bulk of the people there will be locals slowly wandering around a mall, not travelers lugging their suitcases.

The suspended walkway, hedge maze, canopy climb and anything else they can think of is now a ticketed experience (quite expensive for the relative product). All the stores in the mall are high-end, not sure why any traveler would want to actually shop there, but the locals do.

The Jewel is outside immigration, so A) if you are transiting Changi Airport, you actually have to leave to visit the atrium, otherwise the best you can do is the SkyTrain which passes through the atrium (T1-T2 or T1-T3). Make sure you have the necessary time and paperwork to do so. B) if you are staying in Singapore, visit the Jewel before you head into the Terminal and pass through immigration. This can be done by early bag drop at Changi L1 (only if traveling to an approved country, and USA isn't one of them) or by visiting the Jewel without dragging your luggage along (think of it as a tourist attraction and go hands free) or be prepared for a TON of hassle dragging your luggage around.

We made the mistake of going hours before our flight, only to find we couldn't drop our luggage at the Jewel Early Check-in because USA isn't approved by Singapore Airlines for it. So luggage storage cost us S$40 for 3 pieces. The bridge from Jewel to T3 for example is VERY VERY long and crowded with locals connecting from the MRT. It was a huge pain and Changi signage actually was surprisingly lacking.

Light show was nothing special. Go see Spectra at the Marina instead.

I only visited the permanent exhibition and found it an interesting way to spend a few hours.

The history of Singapore, from the colonial days through to independence was well told through a combination of artefacts and interactive media.

I'll be honest, I was only really interested in going to the Cloud Forest but I ended up doing both and ended up enjoying the Flower Dome more than I thought I would. If you're on the fence just do both!

Tip: If you have an iphone try using portrait mode when you take up close photos of the plants and flowers.

Delightful place to explore with interesting finds along the way. However, some pockets are very touristy. The area near Peoples Park Complex is popular among Chinese nationals.
